tbh I thought that was out. Actually a great umpiring decision to give it not out.
 
The 2nd review was not the issue. The 1st one was

Warwickshire CCC Announce Free Tickets for Day Five of England vs India Test Match

Edgbaston Stadium has announced that tickets for Day Five of the LV= Insurance Test Match between England and India will be available for free.

Tickets will be available from 5pm and can be claimed online at tickets.edgbaston.com. The tickets will be capped at four per person.

Supporters are encouraged to make voluntary donations to the Bob Willis Fund and the Edgbaston Foundation.

Warwickshire CEO Stuart Cain said: “Over 90,000 people have been to Edgbaston this week to experience the pinnacle of the sport and two world-class teams.

“With limited play expected and a thrilling finish in store, we wanted to open our doors and offer the opportunity to watch Test cricket at Edgbaston to as many people as possible, perhaps even for the first time.

“We’re proud to also be supporting two great charities in the Bob Willis Fund and Edgbaston Foundation, with fans having the opportunity to make a donation when claiming tickets.”

The Bob Willis Fund was founded following the tragic passing of beloved England Cricketer Bob Willis, who lost a battle with prostate cancer in 2019.

Since its launch, the Bob Willis Fund has raised over £500k to find better and earlier diagnosis of prostate cancer and support families through grief charities.
 
Good Bumrah didn't review that. Pant would have reviewed that for sure.

Bairstow looking subdued. Is it a deliberate strategy from him so that Root can do his thing at the other end?

They are desperate to get Root, that's why.

But the first one, it was all Jadeja which is terrible because as the bowler, he had the best view. You could see Pant was unconvinced and didn't want to take it.

But Pant almost burnt our 3rd review now - Jassi saved us, refusing him firmly lol

Pant has a bad history with reviews though. Remember Rohit Sharma mocking and abusing him (in a friendly way) :))

Yeah, Ashwin too is like this. Always eager to take reviews on his bowling.
 
Root got to be dismissed now or he'll run away with the game.
 
Jadu is good with the bat but his bowling away always makes me wonder.

Bairstow is doing well. Jadeja was trying to do a Warne to Pietersen and play on his ego, bowl him round his legs. Bairstow resisted.

Man, I wish Ashwin was around now, with Bairstow batting so easily.

He always seemed to have the ability to turn Johnny into a fine Bharatanatyam dancer.

Yeah, it's not always slam bang, it's better to play as per the circumstances.

Why sleeps stand so close is beyond me. The reaction time is less if you stand up.
 
These good for nothing cricketers, Thakur, Vihari, even Kohli can't bat, can't bowl, can't field.

If Eng bats sensibly, I see this total chased. Batsmen have given wickets and it's not that hard to bat with softer ball. Anyway, plenty of runs left and India needs these two back.

And you can expect Rahane to make a decent score at least out of nowhere something which Vihari isn't capable of.
 
Thakur is a useful bowler to have as 4th seamer, particularly for English conditions where a heavy set medium pacer can be awkward to face.
 
Vihari will get a lot of flak if India loses this game. That's for sure. Even Iyer as well.
 
Eng will be aiming for 250 at close of play without loss of wicket
 
Ball is reversing,very good seem movement too

Yet root not shy to play his shots and manipulating the field expertly

Proper test cricket with very good quality overall barring the fielding of course

England can score 50-60 more runs.

These two need to stay unbeaten till Stumps.
