What's new

England beat Pakistan by 141 runs in the 3rd Test

Two of the best rearguards I've seen to save a Test:

Michael Atherton's 185 v South Africa in Johannesburg in 1995 against Donald, Pollock and co.

Ricky Ponting's 156 v England at Old Trafford in 2005.

Could do with an innings like that.

Its interesting to see do Micky and Inzi have any power to kick out any of Hafeez and Younis or both. Our former players want to loose rather 10 matches and keep these twos in the name of seniority, injustice and 10000 runs

That Pointing one was unreal, can remember watching it.

Amazing to see how well Sami has played in this match. All the hype has been for players like Babar, but here is a guy opening in his first Test in England and doing a brilliant job, masha Allah. I mean, come on, he's an actual Test opener! When was the last time we could say we had one? Need to give him a consistent run, in shaa Allah.

imagine him in the UAE

Inzi only selects the squad.

England swing the new ball more than us and reverse it better than us

No, it's just better conditions for reverse swing today. Why didn't they reverse it on day 2? I noticed Sohail Khan reverse one or two in the morning. The one which got Bairstow certainly reversed a touch.

Younis has powerful media lobby behind him who will ignore the facts and figures and will cry about disrespect to seniors. like how he lobbied to play in the 2015 World Cup when he was finished in ODIS after Mohali.

Here's a fun fact: Pakistan was 17/2 when they chased down a mammoth 377 against Sri Lanka in 2015 in 4th Innings. :)

Here is a real fact for you: This is not Srilanka's bowling attack and Pakistan dont have any chance of even getting close to win

Interesting that England have a different preference for what player goes in at silly point and which goes in at short leg, most teams usually have one person they call on for both. Who was doing it for Pakistan this test out of interest given it was Masood previously I think?

Vince seriously needs to get Helmet on. People have died fielding at this spot

Azhar Ali I think

We need to get rid of Hafeez and Younis and bring in Babar Azam and Rizwan for the next test.

Probably Azhar Ali

England need only two more wickets before tea. Misbah is the real threat for England and they should get rid of him as quickly as possible. 10 overs from Anderson and ali is more than enough for Pak lower order.

Why is Sami Aslam taking these crazy risks against Moeen Ali?

Atleast Anderson is off [emoji27][emoji27][emoji27]

He might have been 8, who knows?

Sami really doesn't rate Moeen at all.

Sami batting beautifully. Unbelievably calm for a Pakistani opener playing his first match in England.

Ramiz trying his best to get England a wicket

And Ramizs curse has worked. Misbah was looking very awkward out there.
