Was I dreaming when I thought amir retired voluntarily from tests? You are still blaming the board for your chosen one chickening out of tests?
 
Not sure why you are all bleating - a 6th rank team is losing to a superior team. If anything Pakistan have played exactly to their potential. That’s why this is test cricket - one great innings usually isn’t enough.
 
I hope pakistan win it now so a certain someone's tinfoil hat will shown up for being just that. Luck seems to be going England's way though.

Babar average 37 in this match
Naseem and Shaheen are just hype nothing else.

Both younger amazing talent just take 4 wickets between them.

Babar is mediocre as for as impact is concerned

Out in 1st over of 2nd day play with poor sbot.

Score just 5 in 2nd innings when he had the opportunity to kill the game.

But but but he fab 5, he is no way near fab 4.
King of soft and useless runs.

A 20 year old and sub 20 year old should totally be rated on this performance alone
After all, can they improve? Naah, not a chance. Great foresight on your part.
 
Blame Nasser hussain for the Jinx. Other than that this game has been a lot like other games in recent years where pakistan have stolen defeat from the jaws of victory. This reminds me of a game against west indies In uae where they won a test match the last time.

I don’t have to do nagin dance because I am also a Pakistani unfortunately. However, know the reality of this team like the back of my hand but most people here don’t.

Cricket is a funny game. Pakistan was on top for 80% time in this test match. They let England take control in the end.

Watching the test - the one that lasts for 5 days knowing full well each side gets two innings. Only a fool would think the test was done and dusted after ‘dominating for 3 days’.

Told everyone yesterday that the disgraceful 2nd innings batting was where we threw this game.

A lot of clowns acting like 200 would be enough

Game changed after tea yesterday when the clown batting line up let us down again
 
England have been coastng ever since these two came to the wicket and realised that attacking a mentally-weak Pakistan team was the way to go. Expect more of the same in the remaining Tests.

You pick 5 specialist batsmen, but when one is unproven in English conditions, and two are walking wickets, then how can you put enough runs on the board ?

I was expecting this to be walk in the park for us

A team like Pakistan was not meant to pose any threat to this great England side but they did

In the end, however, I dont think anyone should be surprised with England winning

I really wanted Pak to win today. I was wathing with my Pakistani roommate. He got frustrated and went to buy groceries. Why is Shadab playing test cricket? He is white ball bowler.
 
Look on the bright side. At least there's no justifying the selection of Azhar and Shafiq now. This is mostly their fault imo, they're the only ones who don't have an excuse.

PS. what happened to the thread which was titled 'why is Pakistan the greatest touring team in England' or something?

I think Butler has done enough to earn his Test spot. But, he shouldn't be the keeper. Someone else should keep.

He contributed far more to this game than some other so called 'test specialists'.

It's pretty convenient to always criticize and have no hopes from the team. That way if they do win, it's just a fluke, but if they don't then it's a 'I told you so' moment. Win-Win I guess.
