When Indian batsmen nick or gets wrapped on pads, they always seem to be out.

When English batsmen nick or wrapped on pads, either its a drop catch or umpire says it not out.

Cannot win matches like that.

Cook to score big now after those initial poor decisions.

We will get these English batters despite the umpires being on their side. Ishant is warming up another 7fer is coming boys #bleedblue

Ball is not doing much now.

India needs all the luck in the world to get England out for under 250.

So far, luck is not on their side.

Ishant the beast Sharma is setting up Cook nicely here. As soon as Ishant warms up the English will be shivering in their boots thinking about those deadly bouncers #bleedblue #mightyandtall

Enough of BK. Today is not his day.

Bring in Aaron now.

This little swing at 75MPH is not going to dent England's confidence.

Only a Misbah fanboy would suggest that..England should bat to the end of day 3 at max. and look to win the game not draw.
I don't expect India to last 90 overs and neither would anyone who talks with sense. When England can make world records this game and win it, so why not?

Bumble saying that the forecast for tomorrow is beautiful sunshine.

Expect a Phainty for Indians.

England will score a minimum of 400.

India will lose this by an innings again.

This is where MSD loses it.

Bring in Aaron when the ball is a little new.

He will bring in Aaron when the ball is old.

It is such an advantage to win the toss.

Conditions play a key role in determining the outcome of the Test.

You should always respect the opposition..If Cook can get a triple then I guess India might bat out a day too..

This could have caused some severe damage to Aaron's ankle. Landing area is getting dangerous.

Binny's bowling is lolworthy.

He is getting a bit of swing, but bowling at 70MPH, he is looks clownish.

A truly shameful performance on Independence day by India.
Innings defeat coming up!

Meh!!!

Predictable pathetic day.

India faced the toughest of conditions and got bundle out.

England playing in the best of conditions. Not much swing or seem movement now.

According to Bumble, it will be sunny tomorrow and with heavy rollers, it will be a absolutely beautiful batting track.

Game over for India.

I don't understand what's India's problem with DRS?

Any Indian poster want to explain?

Expecting India to make changes for the next series.

Passengers will be gone.

Rohit/Binny/Gambhir will be goners.

Pujara/Kohli will not feel safe anymore. Horrendous tour for them.

Dhawan might survive only beacuse his replacement Gambit was even more pathetic.

DRS or not, India's fate was sealed the moment they lost the toss.

Our weak batting lineup cannot handle the mighty movement the pitch was offering.

Yes, DRS might have made England score 62/1 at the end of the day. Still would have been an appalling day for India.

I think these Indian batsmen are just not good enough for Test Cricket unless it is played in SC.

yadav will make a comeback to the test squad.

You do know that WI is coming to India right? all 'passengers' will average 50+

yadav will make a comeback to the test squad.

Pankaj is not international material.

Yadav will come back.

Bowling has not been the problem for us on this tour.

Its the batting that has let us down the entire tour.

The 2 times that we batted decently, we went on to either draw the match or win it comfortably.

IPL champs should be ashamed of themselves. I understand if it is a 2 Test series and batsmen do not get much time to solve their difficulties. But in a 5 match series, if the batsmen are not able to adjust their technique to the challenging conditions, it shows that the batsmen are mediocre.

So in 10 attempts, Kohli, Pujara could not solve what is affecting them. I don't know what to say.

Guess which player India put up for the press conferences after the match and the interviews with TV?

Their fielding coach.

PATHETIC.

So this pretty much settles the series as 3-1 in England's favor. Gambhir, Dhawan, Binny, the unlucky seamer and Rohit Sharma deserve a permanent boot. Umesh should come in, and Amit Mishra should be given a go for a while.

Also, BCCI should make sure that Tests against WI aren't played on dust-bowls as our spinners need to learn the skills required to bowl in unhelpful conditions. On such wickets, I see Amit Mishra being our best bet.

The only thing that excites me for this English tour now is to check some youngsters out in the ODI series. :amir

Actually Binny bowled well.

I mean he was bowling in the off side and you could feel Cook would give in and drive and nick one ball.

Anyways, I guess this match and series is done and dusted for us unless someone produces a miracle spell.

i think BCCI should ban all tests and only allow LOI and IPL of course:D cause we ain't good enough in test...what is the point of ruling ICC if we can't make this tinnee tiny change :D

The side exerting the pressure gets the benefit of the marginal decisions. The umps are thinking subconsciously "England are winning, so that must be not out." I've seen it a hundred times. When Australia used to beat England in every Ashes contest for 16 years, they got the benefit of the bulk of the marginal decisions too.

now we know why the mighty england lost to those damn convicts for all those years....shoddy umpiring :D....it had nothing to do with pure cricketing ability :D

DRS oh India when will you learn......................

India so disappointing with the bat.............

You misunderstand, as usual.

It's not shoddy umpiring, it's the way human minds work. When England were pushing the Aussies around, they were getting awarded the close lbw shouts. It's called making your own luck. When you're winning, the tight decisions start to go in your favour.

Why them and not Kohli they all performed before this series, I think Indias biggest problem is that Kohli is failing and after Sachin they rely on him too much.

Because this is the first tour where Kohli has had a real failure. The guys I mentioned have been failing in away tours for ages. As for Binny, he is the new guy, but he simply isn't Test class.

Looks like after that fluke win at Lords where the Poms gave their wickets away it's normal service resumed for England?

You could really split this series into two eras - pre-Teachergate and post-Teachergate

Any Indian poster want to explain?

Because they made a hash out of their very first attempt at using it and didn't like it because they didn't know how to use it.

The DRS made its debut during the Test series between India and Sri Lanka in 2008. India's very first brush with the system was not a memorable one. In the series, India managed to get just one referral right out of 20 calls made.

Also Tendy didn't like it.

Several Indian players have come out in opposition to the review system in the past few years, including the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Tendulkar, who featured in the India-Sri Lanka series where DRS was first trialled, expressed his concerns back in 2010.

I am not fully convinced with the referral system [DRS]. When I was here [in Sri Lanka] last time, I was not convinced with many decisions. I did not feel comfortable, it was an experiment I felt.

Indians just don't seem interested once the going gets tough. This sort of surrender without even firing a shot is quite embarrassing for India. I feel for genuine Indian fans (not the resident troll) and understand how frustrating it can be when your team just doesn't even put up a fight

Well India batted 61 overs at least...that's more than an ODI.

Can't remember such a capitulation after being 1-0 up in a series. India have really bottled it. Shame because the 2nd Test was the most exciting contest! Been dull and one-sided since.

This is good warm up for our tour of Australia. Our boys will be battle harden by than and will make Mitch squirm. Don't be fool by this current display, we don't take the English seriously. We are coming for you Aussies #bleedblue

India will kick the **** out of the Aussies!

Ishant Sharma will show Super Mitch how to bowl with pace and venom!

I shudder to think of the phainta facing your lot if you turn up like this :D #indianmullering

can some one tell me what happened to Broad's face ? Did he get beat up ??

here you go

Keeping their current form in mind, I can imagine a few Indian top order bats getting their face re-arranged in Aus by Mitch n co :mj

Anyway, its never healthy to make fun of sportsmen getting injured. Unlike us, their career depends on it.

The phainty your trundlers are about to receive from Warner will be one you remember for the rest of your life.:133:

Well Charles... they should send them all home... economy class. In fact, you can strap some of them to the wings.

I am off to bed. When I wake up the entire first session of Sri vs Pak will be over and Pakistan will either be a few runs ahead or all out.

I wonder which.

Am really dissapointed with the likes of Vijay, Pujara, Kohli, Rahane e.t.c. These guys are the apparent creme of India's future and they have been out classed in swinging, seaming conditions and have looked out of their depth in fact.
