so younis khan has failed in 6 consecutive innings in Aus/NZ. Now there shouldn't be any doubt in dropping him against india.

No point talking about someone who ain't available. Hopefully his suspended sentence gets implemented too whilst we r at it.
You have to remember he was playing in a much better team too, with a gun middle order and top bowlers. He had his fair share of failures but was allowed to develop. Give shezzy the same time and space.

Shehzad has being doing pretty well. No need to look at just one match and label someone as a hack. I can't seen Azhar doing any better.

He will occasionally play out the new ball, then get out anyway. No strike rotation skills and no hitting ability at all.
 
Harris was struggling to rotate strike against off spin, he lost his patients :(

Shezad plays 70% dot balls in first ten overs, with no foot work, when he is not playing in green and swinging conditions. Azhar is much better.
 
Is this batting lineup too good that even Fawad Alam can't find place?

I bet even if we had De Villiers at our disposal we would've found an excuse to keep him out and gone ahead with :yk
 
How much you want to bet that Umar Akmal will get out in the Power Play ???

I was talking about butt in pure cricketing terms. As far as Shehzad is concern , he is been around for 3 or 4 years he needs to quickly learn the art of rotating the strike instead of taking selfies.

I don't think Pakistan is playing to win. They just want to spend some time in the middle.
 
I'm starting to expect England to win most ODIs now, except against Australia.
 
Wasim Akram is struggling to bring more perspective than Ramiz. That tells you what you need to know about the commentary efforts.

How?? Just saying won't make him so.

Shehzad has a ton in SA and NZ. Can't see Azhar doing that.

Regarding the dot ball percentage, Azhar's will be a lot worse. He cant play fast up front, cant rotate the strike and doesn't have the power game to make it up. So, no Azhar is not better. Shehzad will catch up and go past him in test also.
 
Misbah can win you matches if all the 50 overs are being bowled by off spinners, that too not a target greater than 250 :misbah
 
quite a gap that between misbah and the second guy on that list
 
So important for Akmal to bat through this period with Misbah. It will do him a world of good.
