He's suddenly started swinging the ball into the right hander. Not as much as Asif and Amir but its noticeable. Definitely wasn't doing it in his first over.

PS. Has the world gone mad? Akmal took two successive catches and had the presence of mind to call in a review when we actually needed one.

I doubt he'll get LBWs against right handers...

they got to keep their discipline here...keep it tight and keep the pressure on before ajmal comes on..

Indeed BUT I suspect these guys have no shame which is why they spout such bakwaas

Wahab is not from Karachi which automatically makes him a Sifarshi as well as a talentless hack and his inclusion in the squad is the result of a masterful collaboration between Mossad, RAW, CIA, ISI, the president of Burkina Faso and Harry Redknapp with the Punjab mafia masterminding the whole plot.

Wahab needs to get his line right and make KP play alot more. To many easy leave balls here!

Riaz doesn't look all that bad. Hitting the deck, getting some spring. Not much in the way of movement but still decent going. Hmmm ...

Drinks Eng 39/2. Wahab is bowling fine with good pace. Asif is as usual very tight. Aamer was a bit wayward early on, should come back strongly in the second spell

yeah we need the likes of Shakoor Rana,Javed Akhtar n Bucknor back:D

Shakoor Rana and Javed Akhtar were par for the course by the standards of their times which was well before neutral umpires were introduced and there was a clear home bias amongst all umpires. Bucknor stood in 6 world cup finals so just because he rubbed a bunch of 4 footyas the wrong way doesn't take anything away from his legacy.

lets hope they can get the two south africans out..then its cuptaan nudge and the leprakaun..!!

Yup...I mentioned in other thread that though Wahab didnt have the best of the domestic season BUT he was the standout bolwer in A tour of Australia and against England Lions in Dubai....

So far so good, but still need a wkt or two more in this session.Good luck boys.

He's not from Karachi and therefore crap. The Australian batsman on the A tour were paid off by the Punjab mafia to make WR look good. Anyone who disagrees is delusional.

If England haven't lost a review for that then it's a disgrace! :po:

No they haven't, the ump called for it, don't know why, he should have called it.

I apologize for questioning Riaz selection in the team.

what a catch by Yasir

Superb bowling from Wahab and a very nice catch by Hameed - the look on trotts face was priceless

Take that Wahab haters - the "sifarshi" is doing it

How come the umpires were checking if it was a no-ball if it wasn't called a no-ball to begin with and there was no referral?

The replays have me laughing.
As soon as Hameed took the catch, he took off. The Umar Akmal was chasing him dragging him by his sweater. Definitely one for the captions this thread.

good celebration too :) was not too keen on Wahab but the guy does have something about him hope it continues.

Why did Tony Hill heed what KP had to say about the legality of the ball?

Surely, a wrong precedent is being set.
