The problem is if umpire had given not out it still would have stayed not out even with review. So must of the times umpire decision is final.
 
Really feel MoYo should have farmed the strike - I guess Wahab was playing so well?
 
So what happened to the black line on the wicket and the ball not crossing it and all that nonsense?
 
Ohh man - we never have any luck.
Ball just clipping and it stays - when it is the same with the english players the umpire does not give it and the review system would not turn the decision. Somehow this system still needs some tweeks - how can it be out in one instance and not in the other.

On another note what is up with Swann and giving him a wicket the moment he comes on to ball. We have not been able to put pressure on him at all. It has been the other way around.
 
Injury to Gul has to be one of the best thing that has happend for pakistan during this tour..

Wahab made some crucial runs and the crucial times..

I hope Imran farhat falls and he breaks every single bone on his body... so pakistan can recall another young batsman to replace him..someone as good as wahab riaz in terms of bravery and talent..
 
Kudos to Wahab though. Has done more than his share in this match. Now if only, Yusuf, Azhar, and Umar can do their parts, we will be in a good position.
 
i think swanns gonna be looking for his 5 wickets again this time. atleast this time the wickets havent been so easy, so far.
 
I do not like this decision with Azhar in there now with an oldish ball. He is going to tuk tuk his way till the new ball is in. This is where you really need to play your strokes when a bad ball is on offer
 
Pakistan is actually 110/3 as Wahab Riaz doesn't count as a batsman :D
 
Pls not the Swann V Pak batsmen Chinese torture - they must have done some prep?

I guess the only silver lining here is that Englands score isnt that high so even if we collapse we should be in ball park
 
The MoYo of Olde days had no problems against short balls

I agree with Cpt. Rishwat we need to capitalize with this ball
 
These two really need to knock off the remaining trail runs..Can't before to lose a wicket before that..
 
need to start scoring runs falling in the same trap as the other tests. After this start it will be suicidal if yousaf got out without getting a big score.

i dont think they mean it literally. and plus, what is one to do when a batsmen remains in the series even after majorly under-performing and injurybseems to be the only way a replacement will be considered?

i second that. if hes gonna go out, i wanna see him go out with atleast a 50, nothing less
 
It says a lot for Pakistan's batting when the best batsmen of the morning was Wahab.

An awful shot by Hameed. Fishing outside off in the 1st over. Set the tone for the morning.

Butt was useless. Was dropped and didn't capitalize. Played an awful shot to get out. Was a rank bad ball and he missed.

Yousaf has been dogged but looks well out of touch. But at least he is still there.

Azhar's face has the look of fright. Expect him to go soon.

Next batsman is a walking wicket.

So very soon it is 111-6.

I still say 150 max.
 
maybe someone will save us like prior did with england and zulqernain did with us last game. we are in a better situation than england were at this point yesterday, 90 odd runs with 7 out.

we're 111/4, i hope to Allah umar and kamran akmal can score some runs, asking for 30 from each is too much, right?

Englands score isnt that high and the pitch has no demons and movement is "nishta"

The flip side of the argument is that with the present conditions we should have been able to put a good total

I guarantee you Kami the bucktooth bandit will have a good day with the bat. As you saw yesterday he did well with all the catches (eventhough they were regulation). He has seen the danger of Zoni, so he will play his best cricket, as he knows there are other options apart from him.
 
i think im just trying to pacify myself. off to bed now, havent slept in 2 days cuz of this team. bowling is the onky thing thT makes me happy.
 
I'm at the ground and can safely say that yousuf looks all set.
 
I think we lost one wicket to many this morning in terms of Genuine batsmen a term i use loosely! Wahab did his job. Hameed and Butt getting out wasnt good.

Pakistan need to get atleast 350-70 here! That means a ton from Moyo and its time Umar Akmal and Azhar contributed!

Kami has 2 ducks so far in series so i dont expect much from him!

im game if he performs, but that performance has to last more than one game or inning.
 
Even now Pakistan is in good position, Wahab played well. Still 4 proper batsmans left and our tail is also very good. Need one good 100+ runs partnership and then we can build a lead.
 
Why are some people acting as if the match has already been lost? ._.

Ok it is Pakistan, but still we've got 2 good batsmen at the crease and another two in the dressing room.:umarakmal:akmal

Obviously, we're also hiding the true geniuses. :aamir:asif:ajmal :)
