This innings shows how England have mercilessly beaten down on England and how they have mentally capitulated with time.

Heck even the 2010 weak inexperienced Pakistani team should much more fight than this.

Kohli misses MoYos Asian record. Highest by a tourist was long shot & I doubt it'll ever be broken - 974 by Sir Don in 1930 Ashes. Viv stands out with 4 Tests - 830+ in 1976.

So many of these Indian rockstars have been exposed during this series, chief among them being the 'Bowling Bradman' and the much-vaunted 'fab four'. Let us not forget that this English team's best batsmen have been its tail-enders this entire series and Moeen only played two matches. :moali

Rockstars get exposed frequently but no solution so far?

How many points will England get after beating the best Indian test team in the last 15-20 years? We are going to lose in Australia as well. Don't get your hopes too high.

Sanjay Manjrekar saying series could've been 3-1 to India after 4 matches.

Minnow mentality.

Hes not wrong. We didnt win the key moments and press home the advantage when we did have the chance. Batting just didnt click all tour apart from Kohli and we dont have the lower order in bhuvis absence to get runs when the top order fails. Tbf we are beyond the point where we can look at positive and moral victories yet it is what it is.

Don't have the lower order "when" top order fails?

Top order has been failing throughout.

Root probably will bring Jimmy for couple of overs at the end of day from end Broad is now bowling.

Kohli has a bad a great series. A shame for him his team mates have flopped for the most part.

Rahul scoring now to secure his place.

He will come good eventually. Selectors should show faith in him. He is too good to fail at this level.

Dhawan should be shown the door. He is an A-Grade LOI player.. But he is not built for Test cricket just like Rohit.

Shaw and Rahul should open in WI series.

Vihari should also be persisted.

Rahul scoring some Umar Akmalesque runs.

Pitch is flat and time to cash on.

Root and Cook cashed in on the conditions. So why not Rahul?

These are perfect conditions for batting. Too bad that Dhawan/Kohli and Pujara have mentally checked out.

Solution? Less IPL, more FC cricket. Less hype and more humility. Less meaningless LOI matches and more preparation time.

I mean they know it, why it has not been implicated? More money oriented rather than result/ game improvement orientation.

So a disappointing performance by Pujara :( Wanted to score him a 100 (and India to lose of course).

Kohli's shot was of a tired man.

Next time ECB should give India 3 tests (and 3 to Pakistan).

Cook is gone. A faint feeling like when Misbah/YK retired.

In an ideal world the lower order just hve to come and finish an innings with no pressure on them. But it's not an ideal world so yea, in 2 test matches Sam Curran was the big difference after the top order failed.

Almost guaranteed to be 4-1 to England or at the very least they'll win 3-1. Has been a very poor tour for India with Kohli again being one of the few positives. Panth if given the chance seems a good keeper and late order batsman as well. As per subcontinental tradition Indian fans will probably want him out before he's been given a proper chance. India will be tired now ready to go home with their tail between their legs!!:)):)):))
