Remarkable how Bell has only scored in singles so far.

71 needed from 60.

Pretty much PP will decide the game i recon.

Dutch need to keep things tight! they should be proud of their effort so far!

Taurus, Broad is a good ODI player as well. Trott, KP, Morgan, Broad and Swann is a genuine backbone for a one-day side. Who would you have chosen? Owais Shah is probably closer to the side after England's rubbish season in ODIs. I'm glad that Bopara has been brought back, very talented.

I'd have picked Samit Patel, for a start, fat or not. A spin-bowling all-rounder, on the sub-continent, it's a pretty easy choice. Steve Davies should have gone - as a specialist batsman, if necessary. He averages mid-30s opening the batting in domestic one-day games. Who else does? (not a lot of players is the answer - Alex Hales is the only other one I can find, although I expect Trescothick does, but he can't really be counted)

Equation is a very easy one. Not sure why people are getting tense over a 7req rate with a PP left.

stumped off a wide, very nice wicketkeeping. don't see that often.

Trott gone lol. Fair play, send someone in who can make use of the field. :p

Wide delivery and Trott goes after but misses and is out off a masterful stumping

Might be a blessing in disguise. Trott isn't generally the man you want to exploit powerplay. Bell's quite good at it though.

I still think England will have to be bowled out to lose.

Even if the RR goes up, you don't expect minnows saving <15 runs in the last over against a good batting team.

a blessing in disguise for england in the form of that stump .... collingwood shud play aggressively n provide sum entertainment .. though i wud prefer ned to provide sum end of the day excitement :d

What they have done with Davies is very strange, but I have high hopes for Prior at 7 on flat pitches...though I am a bit of a Prior fanboy

Maybe we have not heard the last of Owais Shah. Bell is an overrated ODI player.

They are trying to make an example of Patel, I reckon they really want him in the team though. He would slot into the ODI side perfectly, and with Collingwood's retirement and the constant search for an all-rounder, maybe even the test side one day.

To have Wright and Tredwell in the XV and Tremlett as a reserve shows you how bad the squad really is.

Whatever the result the Dutch should be very proud of this performance.

Collingwood to eat up some dot balls.

64(54) is a standard T20 equation. England just need to play normally and not panic.

England not quite got control of this game yet, Netherlands just need a couple of good overs.

64 off 53 should be like taking a morning whizz for these players.

Great running! You can tell that England do not rate the Netherlands fielding.

I agree I would have had Davies for Prior.

Never seen samit play, so I don't know. Bit of a strange reason why he's left out of the side. But I guess England's emphasis on fitness is one of the reasons why their fielding and discipline is so good (not today obviously but on most days).

Collingwood's form still looks crap atm. This bowler is such a dibbly dobbly type.
