England: Bell, Wright, Pietersen, Bopara, Collingwood, Shah, Ambrose, Swann, Broad, Sidebottom, Anderson

New Zealand: How, McCullum, Taylor, Styris, Flynn, Elliott, Oram, Vettori, Mills, Southee, Gillespie

New Zealand won the toss and decided to field

England 226-8 after 46 overs
Bell 46 - Bopara 58 - Owais Shah 63

Shah played some outstanding shots in his innings. His first six was completely out of the blue - Southee was building some pressure and Shah was on 1 off like 15 deliveries but the next delivery was smashed and flew 15 rows back. He's really talented - my fav Eng player by far.

McCullum 1 out ct at 1st slip off Sidebottom
NZ 7-1 after 2.2 overs

good innings from shah..much better than rubbish collingwood and the other overated losers!!...does anyone evne care about this ODI by the way?..

I am only listening to this match's audio commentary today as commentary is not boring. Not following the other matches

NZ 62-2 after 14 overs - need 184 more

Styris 55 - Oram 23
New Zealand 144-4 after 31 overs - need 102 runs @ 5.36

Unsporting Behavius Causes Run-out!
That girlie Bowler Took Out The Batsman Which Caused Him To Fall And Then Instead Of Being Sporting The Stupid Fielder Threw The Ball And Caused A Run Out With The Batsman Still On The Floor!

STUPID BELL!!!!!!!!!
ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC, THE PHYSIO HAD TO COME OUT F F S!!!!!!!

I WONDER WAT THE ENGLISH NEWSPAPERS WILL MAKE OF THIS ESPECIALLY AFTER ALL THE BULL**** THEY'VE PRINTED IN THE PAST!!!!!

We all wanna win, but not like this!!!!!!!!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NEW ZEALAND!!!!!!!!

Shameful. Shameful from England and Collingwood to allow THAT to happen. That's cricket being played in the worst spirit imaginable.

Sidebottom isn't to blame but I think all the neutrals will be cheering on New Zealand after that tbh

What just happened - I just turned over now??

I saw a collision - then a run out.

Was it given?

If yes, Collingwood building up a reputation as someone who plays dirty...

I think it was sidebottom's mistake initially, it wasn't intentional on his part. He still looks unhappy about what happened.

Didn't watch the incident, but from what I've read, surely the appeal should have been withdrawn?

Yeah true i realised that afterwards when they showed him, but was there any need to appeal?!

Batsman dropped the ball at his feet and set off for a quick single, Sidebottom chased after the ball and they both collided pretty heavily. In the meantime the rest of the fielders carried on and ran Elliott out.

There was a long discussion between the umpires and Collingwood/England fielders and Elliott's had to go

Could have been withdrawn yes, Collingwood clearly didn't think it should ;0

Having watche dit again.

Surely the thing to do is to recall the batsman.

Didnt Collingwood do that?

1st the deliberate slow overate to get a game called off - now this.

God, I hope they lose!

NZ wins the game on last ball. throw missed the stump and over throw taken as no one was backing up

Yessssss!!!! THAT is justice!!! retarded fielding by england, no backing up. haha that was a perfect finish!

And Vettori is absolutely pumped.

1 farce cost NZ a game
another farce almost cost them the game!

HAHA...i fully expected it.Knew ENG are no good at holding their nerves.

NZ leading the series now. England needs to win next game to tie the series.
No hand shaking after the match

The NZ players did not come out to shake hands. They just showed collingwood walk up the stairs and upto the NZ dressing room, but no one came out. It was pretty awkward, but i guess collingwood deserved it.

Justice.

NZ team refuse to come out and shake hands with Collingwood.

And too right!

Amazing scenes on NZ balcony!

Vettori! WOW!

A fair few choice expletives hurled in the direction of Eng balcony.

So, justice is served, and for Collingwood, there's a bit of a humiliating postscript as he heads across to shake hands with the New Zealand dressing-room, but is snubbed at the door. Either way, the fans got their money's worth, and some

I was praying that Vettori would snub Collingwood - and he obliged!

can someone explain how Collingwood cheated, never saw the match.

He didnt 'cheat' exactly, that must be cleared up. He was VERY VERY unsporting, he chose to appeal for the run-out even though he had the choice of not appealing. The umpire even told him!

Hilarious Finnish! :))) :)))

and it got better when Collingwood waited for a hand shake from the NZ team and no one came out of their dressing room! :))

I agree that what he did was wrong. I have just a suspicion that he might not be the only international captain who would have done exactly the same in that position, though. Regardless, he should apologise. Had we won under those circumstances, victory would have been devalued.

Definitely. :)) There was even talk of England letting NZ win after the incident!
