Need a big total Imad Faheem Hassan etal need all relu katas to contribute aggressively I.e 35(20) 25(14) 20(9) then wel hae a competitive total
 
Get to 250 off 40 overs and then score 100 off the last 10 overs.

Don't like his attitude to spinners and some of his strategy is questionable at times, but the guy is a thorough professional who knows how to develop systems.

Slowly but surely has moulded this team to his image.

It's no accident Pakistan has one of the youngest squads in WC19. Actually really excited with the post World Cup era free from the likes of Hafeez and Malik.
 
I think Imam has just kissed Willy out of the world cup squad!

THIS is what Babar needs to do but fails to. He cannot capitalise after getting his hundred the way Imam is doing.

Reckon Inam his gonna take him over soon.

Now People starting to criticize Babar . Actually Babar has started to change his attitude And Approach .he Plays Run A Ball Often Strike rate higher then 100 now .
It will take time but He Is Getting better .Just have a patience

Who cares about averages it’s not like he’d won us a game before he was averaging over 50. Needs to win us a game he’s the most talented man in this side yet what does he do. I’m the biggest fan of his but with the kind of talent he has it’s been worrying.

Bowling is a definite worry, in both ODIs and tests.

Agree re Waqar. He gets a bad rep for coaching but IMO knows what he's doing about when it comes to bowling.

Well said, Mickey's only weakness is failure to groom spinners and liking his pseudo allrounders instead.
 
Very encouraging to see the Pakistani batting go after it so early, as early as the 35th over

In the past they have waited till after 43/44 overs to really start pushing it, even with set batsmen

I cant deny the culture Mickey brought in but tactically I believe he has been poor on many occasions. We also have to realize that Mickey had the advantage of PSL which was not there before 2016 and it has filtered out a lot of players.

Fakhar and many others wouldnt have been in the team most probably if it wasnt for PSL and Mickey hasnt hand picked a single player from domestics.

I totally with Azhar being ineffective but being head coach Mickey should have brought someone else in.

In his brief career, Imam has a habit of throwing it away after 100. Hopefully not the case today.

This actually shows that he is now not even getting the soft runs he is famous for.
His performance is gradually going downhill from here on when it should have been improving.

He’s easily the best bowling coach in Pakistan, need to get him back in the team as the bowling coach.

1. Captain and leadership
2. Spin bowling
3. Pace bowling
4. Fielding
5. Batting

I think we need to say a word about imam’s fitness. Still running twos and hitting boundaries without too much hassle

PSL was not a given. It was/is a tool. How well it is used is dependant on the management.

Also plenty of non PSL players have played under Mickey.
 
Really impressed with Asif's innings today, exactly what was required.
