Umer should take a punt and open or play one down the only way he is getting in to the side is if he scored 120+

Says how rubbish our selectors are, despite his brain fades Umar should be one of the first names on Pakistan team sheet and here he has to score a ton to get himself selected ahead of Shafiq

Though i feel he just needs to bat decently and he will earn selection

Koi ALLAH ka banda Punjab ka squad post kerde can't find it on cricinfo or pcb site.

I sincerely hope Umar Akmal, Sohaib and Bilawal have a good game, all 3 should be in 15 but Knowing our selectors one failure will rule them out

Kami with another failure.
Failed twice in 3 games
Btw Umer didn't even appeal for lbw against big Bro

I hope this is the last we hear from Kami Akmal. Hopefully it shuts the door on his selection too.

lol Kamran showed his true colors again he will remain a failure , and some expect him to win matches on his own in WC

Talha might have done a huge favor to Pak world cup chances, hopefully Umer gets a big one today and books his ticket for Aus.

looking forward to see the batting of potrntially the best chaser in Pakistan AKA haris sohail :D

cat fight in the commentary team. (I paraphrase below)
commentator 1: healthy average of of 31 for umer amin
commentator 2: a strike rate of 69 only and a low average, perhaps ok by Pakistan standard, but top class batsmen average in the 40's and players like kohli, dhoni, and amla in the 50's
commentator 1: Mind it please we are talking about domestic cricket not international cricket
commentator 2: yes we are talking about domestic cricket, but players averaging 31 in domestic cricket, are likely to struggle in international cricket, which umer amin has. Any how, lets see what he dishes up today
(5 seconds of cold silence)
:)

going by their logics Hodges should be averaging more than 60 in tests?:P

Two youngsta beauties at the crease. Time to impress the selectors.

LOL healthy average of 31. Commentator 1 got owned. Who were the commentators by the way?

commentator 1 is harris khan: played a few odi's for Pakistan in the early 90's I think.
commentator 2: not sure who the second guy is but is very good: fluent, expressive, and knowledgeable, and keeping the conversation going. Surprised he is not getting to do stuff at international level.

Haris khan was coach now he is commentator lol looks like he lost his coaching job

btw i missed the commentary now it's Ghulam Ali and another PTV kid Danish in commentary but i bet the one you mentioned as commentator 2 is that PTV Sports guy who worked for Dawn news too as sports journalist he is young and fluent with godo knowledge of cricket.

He is the one you see in this picture

thanks. they need to get him to international matches in Pakistans home season. Probably has not played international cricket, perhaps thats why not there.
But, if groupies like Harsha Bhogle can establish a commentary career.....

Bhatti expensive as ever i wanted him to have a good game but looks like he will lose his palce in Final 15

100 partnership between two youngsta beauties against a good side.

1 innings inst enough for amin.. a lot of international failures.

don't drool over his chances.

For fun i would like to see Raza hasan getting promotion after Raza's maiden FC ton

lmao his last innings of 37 proved to be match winnings in the end as well.

last few fc scores:
2,81,60,57,24*,50,58,0, 15,11, 1*,48,96

His international performances have been pathetic so unless he scores real big and have a monstrous season he doesnt deserve his spot in the squad or even in the 30s.

Nothing great his domestic stat are mediocre

:four

swept beautifully.:14:

he's playing the spin much much better than the last season. Clearly improvement.

how many times he has been dropped in between those 14 ODIs he has been given?

he's improving. He didn't start that great. It'll only get better.

I will boot for his selection when he will imrove as of now Umar, Sohaib and Fawad all deserve selection more than amin

Always after showing no quality and fight at all.

He deserved to be dropped every single time and besides he was never picked on merit. Always had a perrchi behind him..

Babar didn't look at his fluent best today. Still showed glimpses of class though. Amin looked much better, despite being an inferior batsman IMO.

How is the track? It seems like a deathbed for fast bowlers looking at the live scorecard. All the pacers are going at around 6-7RPO. If the track is that bad for pacers, Wahab seems to be bowling well.

yes only Asad Shafiq and YK have merit to be picked in the ODIs.

It's as flat as a wicket can get. Wahab has bowled in the right areas and has been the only pacer who's kept it tight. Expect the others to get smacked around further in the last 7.

Mohammad Talha to Umar Amin 4 run(s)
Shot! Fuller in length, on off stump, gives himself room and drives down the ground to long-off fence for four

Amin looks set for a century but he's hitting a lot of risky shots in order to up the ante. Respect to him for not tuk tuking his way to a century and thinking about the team instead.

:four

Mohammad Talha to Umar Amin 4 run(s)
Poor delivery, short in length, on leg stump, gets across and flicks away down to fine leg fence for four

Wahab Riaz to Umar Amin :4 run(s)
Great shot! Good length ball, on off stump, goes back and drives on the up and over bowler's head and goes for four

Watch out for your head Wahab.

Another

Wahab Riaz to Umar Amin :four 4 run(s)
Another fantastic shot. Low full toss just outside off, comes forward and slices it down to backward point for four more

This is some phainta

I'm not a fan of Amin but he has batted brilliantly today. Oozing quality.

Amin will always look classy when ever he gets runs the problem is he never gets runs at top level.
