Guys let's admit it.
Pakistan journalists are breaking news left and right - we have some chap who uses Fakhta (Dove in English) to make up whatever news he dreams of, others use the more traditional route of "According to sources" whilst some report as genuine news.
So, on the same lines, I am now starting my own version - "Gainday nay bataya hai" [According to my pet rhinoceros]....

Breaking news, news ticker....flashing lights etc
Gainday nay bataya hai...
The ICC Executive Board consisting of executives of the ICC Board have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that a fair and satisfactory conclusion to the "which kid will win the Champions Trophy Hosting tournament" problem for many days.
According to the brother of one of the waiters serving drinks in the virtual meeting of the ICC Executive Board who cannot reveal his name has stated, an irate Executive of the Executive board suddenly got up around 2am from his chair and purported to take a comfort break where he thought hard about how best to serve the interests of the BCCI whilst showing PCB that they too had a purpose in life.
It is now believed that during this meaningful break the Executive came up with a longwinded - yet genius idea to resolve the impasse.
The Champions Trophy 2025 tournament, a precursor to the actual tournament which may or may not ever happen, will now be played in entirety in Pakistan. However, instead of wasting time on travel etc and keeping in mind the wishes of the Indian Gov to not breathe same air as Pakistan (except when it comes to smog in New Delhi and Lahore), the tournament will now be played using a copy of War and Peace where scores will be decided by flipping pages of the said book.
This very detailed exercise will take place in Lahore in the PCB's mega 30,000 people GSL stadium and will require imagination from the India team and one copy of War and Peace for their participation.
Reaction in Pakistan
Once the news was broken, there have been scenes of unbridled joy in book stores in Pakistan. The PCB Patwari in Chief congratulated PCB Chairman for this total victory in face of overwhelming odds. A national holiday has been declared in Pakistan to celebrate their first win against ICC in many years.
Reaction in India and the GOI decision
An air of disappointment and smog has descended over New Delhi after details, including which pages of the said book would be used for India scores, was revealed. Whilst BCCI operatives in ICC were seen openly sobbing about the whole thing , Gainday nay bataya hai kay.... The Govt of India have considered this issue and decided that India team scores for the Book Cricket games cannot be determined from Books held in Pakistani territory....
