Game of Thrones
He is alive

Jaime is way too big of character to die with a simple screen fade. Even if he would die by drowning they would make it more dramatic

Thats true.Tbh i kinda like Jaime. He is one of the more honest ones out there and isnt scared of blurting out hard truths. His POVs in SOS completely changed my perception of him.Hope he survives.

A question for those who have watched the recent leak , is it the 52 minutes one or are there any longer ones available as well? Suleiman Syed1

That's the longest one. It says 52 mins but is even, shorter lol in reality.

Was really hoping x would die, he/she has gotten away with enough. Sad that y got in the way to save him/her.

No x is a very important character.. I hope they go far in the series. They also have a major part to play in removing a certain someone.

X is the best character and he will kill a certain someone. I will explain my prediction soon

In the books stannis and Jaime were my favs

In the show it's Jaime, he is played brilliantly and has the best character arc. He has gone from essentially being the first villain on the show to a character that almost everyone loves.

I think this season will end with him either killing cersi or leaving her and heading north.

There have been a lot of throwbacks to season one, Jaime had a scene with Jon in the first episode that I reckon will be important

Yeah Jamie is an interesting and likable character full of flaws if you ignore the incest and flinging children out of the windows part but then again no one is perfect in this story.
And btw in the books didn't Jamie already sorta disown her by throwing the letter into fire he received from Cersie asking him to immediately come to KL to her rescue when the faith turned on against her when he was serving in the riverlands to solve the Blackfish problem? Would be interesting how they do it in the show

Don't think the letter burning will happen in the show sadly

If you watch his scene with Jon in season one he sarcastically thanks Jon for protecting the world from wild kings and white walkers

Looking at that and knowing every scene in this show is there for a reason I can see Jaime actually believing that the white walkers are real. Obviously cersi will not and that will be the breaking point

I can scarcely wait to see all of these players to put their petty differences aside and brace themselves up for impending doom that is looming over the whole realm with the coming of white walkers.I know Cersie wouldn't and that's why can't wait to see Jaime slitting her throat open and put the matters at end once and for all

Okaish.Not bad must say

I read somewhere that the leaked episode was 50 mins long while every other episode in the series has been 60 or more. This was a deliberate plot by HBO to induce more suspense and some scenes have been deleted. The full episode would be aired at the normal time.

maybe it is because i rewatched the scene of him in the first season when he/she was a terrible person and did something terrible in said scene. I know the writers want him redeemed in the eyes of the audience but i feel like he needs to pay.

Maggie the frog prophesied to Cersei that all three of her children will die in her lifetime and her brother will kill her. So that could be either Jaime or Tyrion

The leaks are all deliberate.. To create more headlines, hype etc. They know it's only the hardcore fans who cannot wait that will watch it in pretty bad quality and they know they will watch it again when it comes in HD + they will create hype..

Jon still hasn't bend D knee. Only 4 episodes left. If he doesn't bend in the next one he's not bending it this entire season.

Also whatever happened to Ghost ?? I can't seem to recall if he died previously or not ???

He is fine... probably back at winterfell.

I been saying this all along. This was planned to create more buzz!

This was always supposed to be the shortest episode in GOT history.

I don't believe that's the case. The leaked video was a unfinished product. I am sure there are an additional 10-15 minutes in it when it gets officially released tonight

I think he is going to bend the knee, but for an entirely different reason:135::135:

The episode run times came out before the season started. Google it. It was always 50 minutes. Guess we will know in a few hours either way. I hope we get an additional 10 15

In that case, I stand corrected.

Very strange though... at 50 minutes at this stage of the game.... shortest one ever. I feel cheated :)

There was no difference in terms of extra scenes in official episode 4. Exactly the same as the leaked one except the quality was better.

I stay away from forums and did not watch the leaked print. Watched it on HBO and the wait was worth it. I like how both Cersei and Dani are outsmarting each other by doing clever things and misdirections as opposed to doing dumb things. The scene where Jaime is rushing to kill Dani only to see the dragon's face in it was a GOAT moment.

This episode has surpassed all my expectations.

GOT is the greatest HBO series of all time. After last episode I'm rating it higher than OZ.

My take on episode 4:

Battle season was one of the best GOT has so far, but there was quite a few unnecessary damage. Why she burnt all the grains? - She has to feed her Army, Grains are as important as Gold, specially for her, when she has such a big Army and Dragons...I would have liked the scene better, if they saved the grains and killed the soldiers, that would have been smarter move on her...Cersi got the Gold and she got the grains...

Bran Story line is interesting, they made a point that in tree cave, when last three eye raven was dieing, he uploaded lot of data into Bran's brain(that's mouth full), the side effect of that event was that Bran is no more Bran...His role in the War of Dawn, got to be more than spying in time and space...

Although it's annoying to see Dany keep asking for bending the knee, but its still politics not charity, they don't sign a simple doc without give and take, how she could go to a whole new war without full support? - But they are coming close to gather, quite literally :ashwin - I can see a nude scene coming later this season

Its also clear that Stark children are not scheming or plotting against each other, non of them are hungry for throne. There does not seems to be any twist in their reunion. They have different personality, but still love and trust each other for most part. They will confront each other on tactics moving forward but largely will be going in same direction as guided by Bran and Jon, I don't see any major twist...Little finger has very little time left, he was shocked at Bran's one liner, "Chaos is a ladder"(that was brilliant by show runners), which he said to Varys himself back in season 1...Indicated to audience that Bran has gone through Little finger's entire life, Bran knows his role in various events regarding his family...

Other than Cersi, everybody is shaping up to be on the good side. I am trying to see, where is the twist?? - Both Jammie and Cersi are main character, I don't see them dying this season...Jammie may not die at all

Name suggests that big events in Next Episode will be Jon's parenthood reveal to the masses, but that's not the only thing, he has blood of Dragon as well, Otherwise why would you use such an obvious phrase as name of the Episode? - Dragon shot, was also hinting at the relationship of Jon with Dragons...We may see death of Little finger as well...

OZ is different to anything which has been produced, a truly brilliant series but GOT has surpassed it now.

I watched the leak print and it was pretty decent but I again watched the official release. I dont agree HBO leaked this themselves as they would have lost viewers and this is not good for advertisement purposes.

Why didn't cersei build a few of those machines? If there were 3 dragons it would have been defeat for the Lannisters.

WOW just finished my viewing. That was good all the way through but the last 15 minutes were literally insane. GoT goes down in TV history forever now.

Which side were you guys supporting?
I am supporting Danaerys, and I don't get the hate she is getting. She is attacking soldiers, not innocents. Didn't Tyrion himself use dragon fyre during black water bay? He wiped out stannis' army almost entirely. Now he was grimacing over the killing of soldiers who have already killed so many of the tyrell loyals and the unsullied.

I think they are over playing this emotion. I was rooting for Jaime and bronn to bite the dust really!

Ironborne can build a thousand ships but lannisters cant build a hundred of these oversized crossbows?

All they have to do is build like a few hundred of them and place them strategically around kings landing to shower the dragons with the arrows.

Exactly, also you would have thought the most sophisticated weapon would have been manned all the time. They could have taken the dragon down before it did all the damage. It's like an army having one nuclear warhead which isn't even manned. I have a feeling they will not build anymore and one dragon will burn it next time.

Then Dani keeps the dragons out of range while her army lays seige to King's Landing and starves Cersei out.

Must admit I was in the Lannisters' side in that one. Dani is turning into her father.

I'm not reading this forum at the moment either, too many spoilers are ruining the flow of the series. But that battle scene where Danaeris leads the Dothraki and lays waste to the Lannister armies with her dragon are basically what we've been waiting for for seven seasons. I'm glad Jaimie seems to have survived though. For one awful moment I thought he was toast. Literally.

I'm not buying it. She has not done anything too drastic as of yet and is far more humane than the lannisters, Baratheons, greyjoys, boltons, etc. when she kills civilians, then we can have this conversation.

I don't get her forcing snow to bend the knee though. If you are the people's queen as they say, you respect the people and their leader's wishes. That part either doesn't make sense or it shows just how slowly and slightly she is starting to slip like her father.

Last episode was great but too short.

Now my question - Is there any sizable lannister army left to stop Dani?

People had been waiting for these scenes for seasons. But a reformed Jamie which is by no means a villain lessened the charm of revenge. Nevertheless, the scenes were epic.

Now the ultimate thing left is battles with WWs. Does not matter how good dargon scenes can be but they are not a patch on WWs.

That was a fantastic action packed episode.

This will go down as the greatest TV series of all time.

I honestly don't understand why Daenarys cops as much flak as she does. Some baffling comments on YouTube as well (yes I had to rewatch that epic decimation from Drogon). People saying she is turning into the "mad queen" because she is burning "innocent" people and that they were hoping she died, like wth?

This is a Goddamn war, and the Lannisters have had free reign for this ENTIRE series, they've been butchering lovable characters since the start, so it is about time they got their behind handed to them. Did everybody already forget how a pregnant woman was lured out and stabbed in the womb? And how Dany's niece and nephew were slaughtered at the order of Tyson Lannister?

I recall Stannis was okay with his own brother getting killed and burning his own daughter but people were still rooting for him. Daenarys has been raped, sold off by her own brother and fought her way back, what's wrong if she gets some redemption?

She isn't a saint though, and I think that is the point George RR Martin tried to make. In political climates like this there aren't clear heroes and villains in black and white, everybody just plays to win.

Definitely on Dany's side, plus they've given her all of the likeable characters as allies (Tyrion, Varrys, John Snow, Onion Knight), so it's hard not to root for her.

I think some people get put off by Messiah Complex which Danny has to some degree

Stannis is an interesting case because he is more positive character in the book and that's where a lot of his fan base comes from. Plus both in the books and show he is the first major lord to be completely on the "white walkers" are coming train

Dont know if its enough to stop her, but yes they have an army still imo.

The army in the battle was the rearguard i think. Randyl Tarly mentions something along those lines before the battle

So what do you guys think about Bronn ?? He's one of my favorite characters at the moment (to go along with Clegane) and these two are the ones I suspect would survive the entire Game of Throne!!

I would be totally miffed if they killed off either one :sanga

Did anyone notice the noisy raven near little finger when he was watching Arya fight? Is it possible that Bran is using raven to keep an eye on little finger?

Tarly also said that all the Gold was safely through the gates of King's landing. So, Dani only burned grains which are also very important.
Will she stay here now and lay the siege? I guess at some stage the savage and unruly Dothraki will hurt her cause. May be they won't have enough food during this siege? Unsullied are more faithful and disciplined but imo Dothraki will hurt her , either because of their characteristic mistake or mutiny.

They are not going to be killed, but they should get captured, that would be big loss to Cersi. Jammie, Bronn and Talis were key commanders for her. I don't see how they should escape...

I don't think Dany played it smartly, there was no reason to burnt the grains. She could have easily kill the guarding soldiers only, Dohraki were more than enough to kill them, burning the defense line was enough, going after grains were completely unnecessary...

No way in hell is Bronn surviving the entire series. He is one of those likeable guys who gets killed off. Hound may redeem himself and survive. Serious doubts about Bronn though.

I think bronn may just survive.

Personally, I feel its Littlefinger, Tormund, and Beric Donndarian ( imo that awsome scene of him in the trailer is actually his last stand, reckon he will save Jon Snow and that will be his "purpose")

Also have one more guess for a minor character death, it isnt based off leaks, but some may consider it a spoiler, somebody on youtube mentioned it based on a scene in the trailer

There is a scene towards the end of the trailer where a wounded Jon Snow is riding off on a black horse.

Somebody on youtube mentioned its Benjen Stark's horse, and if you look at the saddle and straps its definitely seems like thats the case.

little finger will die this season at the hands of arya

not a spoiler just my prediction

Bhai Tormund to gaya hi gaya... I think it is almost a fact that he will fall against the walkers. We need to dig up his grave already. Might take Dondarion with him too. Benjen is already dead and never played a HUGE role in the series so its not a big loss.

Waiting for the hound and the brotherhood to make an entry at winterfell. I think them and gendry are the only players left unaccounted for at the moment.

Loot Train Dothraki attack, gave us a sense of what it feels like to face Mongals, the terror they brought to the opponents is hard to imagine, there was a reason Chinese build 4000 miles long wall, that took centuries to build. Thing I love about GOT is that those battle scenes take you back to the middle ages, you experience the history in in a very immersive way. Mongals biggest strength like Dothrakis was that they were way superior than others on horses, they were fast, ruthless and you cannot give them open field...I heard that Mongals not only can eat on horses but excrete too, now that is little too much even for HBO :)

Bronn and Jamie should be captured by Danny, how they can escape from the battle field from that situation ?

Bronn and Jamie should be captured by Danny, how they can escape from the battle field from that situation ?

the same way it does in my shows/films

the current will take them away, thats my bet

the Tarlys will be captured

Its lame form Directors, otherwise how the most important prisoners can run away? - There was not much of a stream in that area, forget about the current...Show must go on, capturing Jammie is not in plot line, but they wanted to show the battle sense, the way they did, without taking into account the consequences. Last time Jammie was captured, it took him 2 seasons to get back on track, there is no time for that. :sanga

Danny could have done lot more with lot less casualties or politics in those three episodes, if this was real world... Also how come Tyrion did not know about drying up of gold mines? - Information was his field, when both Tyrion and Varys are on her side, they should have done better than what they did, its like Cersi beating them in their own game, no wonder Danny was frustrated by all the advisors...She gave them enough time, but all there schemes failed...

Danny had to show strength and not wait till all her allies get taken out one by one. The morale in her own ranks would have been at risk and as we saw what the dothraki leader said to Tyrian watching in... "your people can't fight". Had she not gone all out, the dothraki would have grown more disillusioned.

It's called Blackwater Rush for a reason
Well they picked a bad spot for the shooting then, or did a bad job of covering it... it barely looked a large enough body of water...
The rest of it though, the way it was shot was a masterpiece..

And for those like me who feel short changed by the short ep.4, I just read one of the remaining ones is almost 90 minutes. What!!!

Have watched the last episode a few times now hahaha right up there with battle of the ******** for mine. Goosebumps material. Didn't expect Daenerys to fly in there like a bawss after that heart to heart on the beach. Drogon <3

Yeah it was a great scene where both sides had people we did not want to see die. This season is moving so damn fast it is awesome.

She could be building them still. This was an old machine and I guess Qyburn has the blue print to make more of them.
