he will probably say thanx beta,aj beta bap se aage nikal hi gya aakhirkar....Loll its fun only till this but it gets ugly when it turns maa behen, abusing other religion, using vulgar language and all. i hope pakistani ex cricketers and anchors will not abuse hindus and use appropriate language after this win though i dnt think they will not say like this.

All that arrogance he showed before the game makes this that much sweeter)
Well done Pakistan.
Look, I have never understood our fans getting sensitive about Sehwag's comments. IT IS ONLY BANTER.
He has never been abusive
He defended Sarfraz from Indians who mocked him for his English
https://twitter.com/virendersehwag/status/876011088138993664
Now after Pakistan has won, he has been very gracious in congratulating
https://twitter.com/virendersehwag/status/876469647096205312
He engages in light hearted ribbing which needs to be taken with a dose of humour. He has nevr been malicious. I as a Pakistani have always enjoyed his comments.
Who's the beta now mate...

Don't take this thread to heart, Indian fans. I'm just messing around.
Light hearted banter is an alien concept in sub continent. People are way to sensitive to understand that..

Absolute attention seeking idiot well deserved ...73 52 mind the gap
I really dont get the hate for sehwag. he is a character he has always been like this. doesnt excuse it, but personally I was never offended by it. credit to him that he recognized and tweeted out praise after the final.
What fans of Pakistan cricket need to understand that is that India's relationship viz-a-viz Pakistan has changed from 2003 onwards (in my view anyways). They have won more, they have more of the big occasions than they have lost and with those come a lot of bragging rights. Guys like Tendulkar, Ganguly, Laxman etc might not express those rights as openly as sehwag.
I want to ask some of the fans here: do you think it was right for Imran to troll India back in his heyday when he would say "we can settle the kashmir issue on the pitch"?
Is that classy?
equating Kashmir issue with calling "your baap" are two different thing.
it is light hearted banter, which was started by Shewag, He is a celebrity. What makes you think your words won't come bite you in the ****. Pakistani fans are just returning the favor, nothing wrong with it and people need to stop trying to turn into something big, which it isn't.

Oh please. Imran Khan is a cricket royalty and top 50 personalities on globe. The epitome of alfa-ness.
Indian (men, women and kids) love him. He is always cheered and applauded in India. He was and is still an inspiration to many on and off the field.
Mentioning him and this clown in same sentence is an insult to the GOAT.
To remind you we pwn India 7x-5x. We still have the ultimate bragging rights.
You (and no one) can't defend this clown's insulting words towards Pak/BD/SL.
You are going away from topic, since you can't defend the clown. We should applaud him for insulting our nation? He sure triggered you.
Ok. You are entitled to your opinion.I see no difference between his trolling or imran's.
Well, ask the clown to visit Karachi or Lahore.stature doesn't get to determine legitimacy of trolling.
Again, we are not talking about his ability to play pace or Pak's pacers vs him. But hey Naved ul Hasan was enough for himi would argue sehwag's has singlehandedly dismantled Paksitan's mythical belief in its pace talent - while he played.

IK has been to India dozens of time, for speeches and as a special guest. Maybe you are triggered by Imran's trolling and not Indians. Are you Mamoon ?

Father should be proud to see son's success of beating him.
I hope you arent talking about Pakistan and Bangladesh match in 99 WC ? or are you ?
When one starts talking Baap, Beta, Pota etc. where do you draw the line for others who might try and take it to another level?
Light hearted banter is not like that
Who's the beta now mate...
Sehwag and a few others need to remember that sport is a great leveler and they should remain humble at all times.
Sadly social media has made some of these guys a bit loopy.
I have had a discussion about it with various people here so I won't go into another details but Sehwag's comment IMO was perfect fine in terms of banter.. Similarly the Pakistanis saying now "ab pata chal Gaya Kaun baap hai" comments along these lines are perfectly fine in terms of light hearted banter..
If you guys think the above are over the line then IMO you guys are a bit over sensitive and I can understand why it is given the history between the two countries..
But comments which Rashid or Rishi kapoor or Manoj Tiwari made they were not made for banter purpose but to actually feel superior or degrade the other person/nation and that is crossing the line..
You are entitled to your opinion so if you don't agree with me it's fine I can understand..
big_gamer007 : This is what happens when shoe is on the other foot, I mean come on what was wrong in the chant 'Baap Kaun Hai'?
http://www.pakpassion.net/ppforum/s...ks-Team-India-with-%91baap-kaun-hai%92-chants
It was just light hearted banter!
)
I just read that loud with Indian accent![]()
