Pandya at least is good at hitting. He knows how to do it, and he's played down the order as a result of it. He's not reliable enough, and he isn't a consistent batsman or bowler, but at least he has a strength.
Faheem I'm always confused what his strength actually is. He's not a great bowler, doesn't get a lot of wickets nor is he good at conserving runs, he doesn't score a high average with the bat. He doesn't even that great a hitter, he doesn't score particularly quick in domestic or internationals. And while Faheem's not a terrible fielder, Pandya is excellent yet Faheem isn't.
Faheem atm performs in T20s allround (though mostly with the ball) more than Pandya performs in any format. The trouble is it's hard to take internationals T20s seriously as most countries don't (except maybe the world cup).
Faheem atm feels like an extra bowler who isn't as good as the other four. Doesn't bowl full quota, and is the 8th/9th worst batsman in the team (coming after Shadab). At least Pandya seems to have a role. Faheem isn't even entrusted to bat above Shadab, a spinner.
