Haris Rauf is a serial bottler and runs machine

The statistician Mazhar Arshad mentioned an interesting stat that Haris Raufs bowling average, strike rate and economy rate is much better bowling first in comparison to bowling second. If the team management selects him and if he has to bowl in the second innings then they need to get his overs out of the way early.

Stop picking players with "Haris" in their name

-14 points lol That too 10 points from his batting. Head and shoulders above

Yes.

I also observed this.

It seems like too much pressure make him leak runs. He can't handle pressure.

Rauf gets unnecessary hate from PCT fans and legends because they all want him to be something he isn't. His captains use him in powerplay and at death where he regularly gets smashed. Guys like Akram keep nagging that he doesn't play FC cricket.

He is an express back of a length quick that should bowl within overs 7-16. He is excellent at that job and will have highest success rate. Especially on wkts which have good carry he will be very hard to get away from back of a length for boundaries when rhythm is on.

Shaheen got thrashed in the first two outings. Last match once Abhishek was gone Shaheen felt a sigh of relief.

Dude there are only 20 overs in t20. Powerplay is 6, death is 4-5 overs. That leaves around 9 overs in the middle.

You want captain to bowl a bowler on a trot for 4 overs in the middle with no flexibility whatsover? The captain then has to change the other 4-5 bowlers around him completely.

And middle order is when spinners bowl most but you want a pacer there?

This is like wasting 10 overs in batting because you want to accommodate a tuk tuk batsman.

No captain wants a fast bowler who cannot bowl both in power play and death. He will be forced to bowl main spinners in powerplay and death. Will destroy the entire balance of the team.

Everyone wants to bowl 7-16 because that is the time when teams generally consolidate

There are much better options to do that job than Rauf.
