How can I enter the Pakistan showbiz industry?

I’m serious about this. It’s my dream and passion to become an actor. Ideally i want to work in Pakistan Tv serials. I live in Australia. I did drama at school, which I was appreciated for. But my parents are very strict muslims and completely against me going to showbiz.

Anyhow, does anyone know what the method is to enter Pakistani showbiz? And exactly ho much chance their is of me becoming successful?

There's plenty of casting calls and whatnot, and most are accessible via social media mainly FB and insta. The big recruiters usually put up a post and you can DM them with your details.

Ofc it's competitive, but so is everything (generally) in which you want to succeed in, depends on how much you want it.

You have to build a resume (or portfolio), so start applying like with any other job. Even living in Australia there will be minor plays and whatnot you can audition for, go for them. Acting is acting whether you are in Australia, Nigeria or Pakistan.

I'm gonna come clean, if you don't have connections it will be a longer ride to get into the "industry", but it is doable if you put in the work.
