How can his sharpness still be there when he does not have the overs under his belt? Even bowling ATGs have spoken about how difficult it can be to get back into rhythm after a long lay off yet apparently this doesn't apply to Prof' ji. He hasn't even bowled in domestic cricket for around 6 months.

That is very rude of him to say keeping in mind how bad he was. 5 long years of UAE has revived his entire cricketing career.

Hafeez should have a place in ODIS

Hafeez would be a really good addition in test but right now the pair of Aslam-Azhar is doing really well and I don't think that we have space for Hafeez in the test team. In ODIS, I feel he could get a place instead of Azhar Ali because Hafeez could also be effective with the ball and Azhar is not a too quality player to be an auto select. Sarfraz should be the captain and Hafeez should open in ODIS with Sharjeel.

Hafeez in ODI's are you serious? He 's not a batsman to begin with let alone a player who can play fast paced modern ODI innings.

Professor, Make sure you are in good term with the selector , you have a chance. Performance doesn't matter , if YK can have a free ride with the team, why not you.

If he can bowl well he should play ODI's for Pak. He could still be useful at number 6/7 where his role is a quick 30 or 40 odd against a ball that isn't swinging anymore.

6 should be permanent position simply because he is not a test opener...hafeez cant play swing...for instance even a slight swing at mathews pace he will be gone...
