Speaking to news agency ANI, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia clarified that no such decision has been taken, and the board has not even held discussions regarding any withdrawal from ACC events.

“Since this morning, it has come to our notice that some news reports have stated that the BCCI has decided not to participate in the Asia Cup and the Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup,” he stated.
“Such news is devoid of any truth. BCCI has not even discussed or taken any such steps regarding the ensuing ACC events, let alone writing anything to the ACC.”

The reports cited “recent tensions” and quoted a senior BCCI official, who claimed that the Indian team “can’t play in a tournament that is organised by the ACC, whose chief is a Pakistani minister”—referring to Pakistan’s Interior Minister and current PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who also serves as the ACC President.

The official was also quoted as saying that BCCI had “verbally communicated” its withdrawal from the Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup, slated to be held in Sri Lanka next month, and that all future participation in ACC events was on hold pending directions from the Indian government.

Okay looks like SSA vs Jaiswal is on.

Mark my words the Asia Cup is definitely happening, and India will be part of it, whether it’s in Dubai, South Africa, or even Timbuktu.

India is a begairat countey who has no self-respect when money's involved. As soon as the broadcasters and big bucks come into play, they’ll come up with some excuse like, “Oh, we have to play Pakistan because of XYZ.”

BCCI never said they were going to opt out of CT25. BCCI clearly stated they would play only at a neutral venue; otherwise, they would opt out. Eventually, we got what we wanted and played at a neutral venue.

I think Naqvis main take away was that whatever will happen will be mutual. If India gets to play in UAE, when India will host Pak should play in UAE. Lets see if that happens.

Those who don't knows the revenue sharing model of aisa cup here I'm explain -

The revenue-sharing model currently allocates 15 per cent of income to each of the five ACC full members — India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan with the remainder shared among associates.

More importantly India does not even take 15% of the revenue, but distributes it among the associates ( Asian countries) .

So it won't matter to India if Asia Cup happens or not.

Thus Asia Cup can be considered suspended. It doesn't make financial sense for countries to play it without either of India/Pakistan. Might as well just play a bilateral
