Holding is a bitter old man and holds a grudge against India. He's not forgotten the humiliation of WC 1983.

India are a deserving world #1. Have been for a period of time. If other teams want to take India's spot, they'll have to beat India with bigger margin. Till then, learn to deal with it my friends.

Which team is then worthy number one

Australia was clean swept 0-3 in Sl lost series in India and in England. SA lost in England and India.

This guy along with Ian Chappell need to get their heads examined little bit.Chappell wrote on Cricinfo about the two series (India, Australia) would decide no1.Australia lost at home to SA , SA lost to England at home.

No they won't decide anything.These Rankings is fair indication of teams.
