This is not the place for petty quarrels. There are plenty of threads here regarding India's abysmal overseas record, please feel free to debate there.

Okay! Apologies.....

if nepal wins today Bangladesh will most likely be facing Nepal in the quarters :D

To say I'm not expecting much of the batting is an understatement :yk

And SC the German stuff is because I study it as a language

Can't understand on what basis Gauhar hafeez has been made the captain of pak u19

^
Ishan atleast has that inning which he played against the jadega team.

This Umar guy is batting at a strike rate of 44. What the hell is wrong with him?

Is their a bonus point scenario guys? And i guess it don't matter what how much people bash afridi but reality is that it is this misbah tuk tuk syndrome that has effected whole pak cricketing circle, even these kids are following suit of king misbah. Long may it live.

Hasan Mohsin was listed as a legspin bowler. Now his profile has been changed on Cricinfo to list him as Right-arm medium-fast. If so, we may have a pace bowling all-rounder TalentSpotterPk

Reality is that this is their true potential.

But of course, the answer is Misbah.

Is there anything Misbah can't do?

Easy win for Pakistan against Afghanistan.

Yes he is definitely not a leggie, he has opened the bowling in all matches he has played and noone ever opens the bowling with leg spinners

Your cousin Sandeep started when i was saying nothing about India, then I was defending a team that I have zero patriotism towards and then you attacked me for defending. So both of you came as weirdos. I don't really mind talking to 13 year olds..........#NOPEDO

i would suggest u ignore Sandeep especially. the guy seems to be a troll/blind indian fan

Watch out for Asalanka and Ashan, both are over weight though. That means they are probably from a well educated, wealthy family. Don't see them contending.

asalanka is from a middle class family. ashan's a son of a fisherman.

It is difficult for associate nations to field decent XIs in U-19 level. For Afghanistan and Zim it may be rather convenient but not so for other associate teams

The match between SL and Pakistan will be televised, already looking forward to that match.

SL defeated Pakistan comprehensively in SL, but we have to remember that almost half of the players who played against SL is not playing for Pakistan anymore. This is a much better Pakistani side.

Ireland has some great bowlers to work with. They need to send their batsmen into county cricket and have them develop their skills. Cricket will be a better sport with a competitive Irish unit..

He maybe India's coach but players from all the teams that play India in this WC should not miss out on a chance to speak to Rahul Dravid.

New Zealand losing to Nepal in Under 19 World Cup

New Zealand chasing 239, currently on 110-5 in 30 overs.

NZ vs Nepal game is getting interesting here , Kiwis 5 down for 119 , still 124 runs required

Bangladesh and Nepal rising, kiwis and saffers declining, looks like only subcontinent will play cricket in the future

No need to jump the gun, the same NZ side beat Pakistan and Aus weeks back lol

Phillips has been a standout, everytime I've checked the scores he's been scoring runs and quickly.

He'll definitely be playing for NZ in a few years time.

What is the point of starting a new thread about this when the discussion is already taking place in the designated thread for the U-19 WC?

Nepal have beaten NZ, SA and Pakistan before.

I don't really like to pay much attention to these tournaments, a lot of players are over the age of 19.

Which ones? This post feels like sour grapes.

Sour grapes over a kids match lol?....These matches are meaningless to everyone barring the kids and their families. As for the age comment, this has already been well documented in the past.

As for the losses, I learn't of them on a twitter feed.

Why don't you just admit that the future of NZ cricket looks bleak instead of looking for excuses

These tournaments gauges the quality of the players in the pipeline. And even if the opposition are over 20, you expect the top sides to beat them.

Also these are great oppurtunity to these youngsters, the feeling of playing in a world tourney
