If Pandya was avaiable we would have definitely thought about it... Playing Ashwin in place of Siraj, and Pandya doing the 3rd seamer job! He would be more effective than Siraj at that... It would be a good combination on pitch like Ahmedabad! Pandya opens up many options... If India lose the final, Pandya's injury might be one of the reasons (the flexibility he brings in and also the X-factor in big games - he is capable of stepping up!)
