I cant believe you guys dint pick great shami in 2019 world cuo semis. You would have won. And in finals England was more than beatable. We beat them and so did Lanka.

I am not sure about Pant return to form after such a devastating accident. Hope he gets back to playing first.
Unfortunately in this period many new wk contenders will be vying for indian Jersey
 
Suddenly the pitch and ball is doing something. I think they sprayed some chemicals through drone-camera and ball-polishing during batsmen's helmet-fixing break between the overs!
 
As said before more movement under lights that's why wins the toss bat first easy decision
 
KL has been exceptional behind the stump. I was worried that his keeping might cause India a heart-break at some crucial point. So good so far.

2019 selection was a huge blunder. Everyone knew the middle order batting depth was a problem but the selectors messed that up big time

They are trying to keep wickets runs will come maybe it will be too late than but that's teh best option. Right now as expected bowl doing a bit more under lights specially for first 15 overs

Usually ACL and MCL are a 6-9 month recovery. It's not a career ending injury . But only risk is that Pant has to use his knees a lot while keeping. His recovery timeline might be different because of that

Need rachin wicket so don't bother if he get one two boundary on fuller bowls .
 
India looks to have planned against Rachindra to keep it full and outside 4th stump outside off...and he scores a four....
 
OK you lose the toss, and whatever the issues with pitch... But you cannot give away 300+ runs in a knockout game! You need to have some strategies while playing...
 
Rachin played like a tail ender as I expected before the start of the world cup. He over achieved
 
It was just a matter of time, he had no clue with moving balls here.
 
That seam position.. damn. Even Bumrah is behind Shami. If you land on the seam ball can literally go anywhere

Shami bhai is on his way to give India WC after 12 years. This is what Zaheer bhai did in 2011. Absolutely amazing stuff.

Ball is seaming like that. Even though bounce is true, adjusting for the movement is very difficult.. Once the movement is neutralised they can go for their shots but need wickets.

That is fine. I'm happy to wait 6-9 months. But don't assume and claim anything definitive. Wait before claims.

Why only shami? Lol.

If you think about it, shami is the best bowler in Asian conditions in test cricket. So is siraj and bumrah but shami is even better in Asian conditions. Makes sense why shami looks like he operates with a special ball.

yeah but blocking will only result in wickets
 
Shami has reinvented himself. Atleast in ODIs. He was always very good in tests. Bumrah and Siraj bowling on the other end also helps. Beautiful wrist and seam presentation

nah, for me - we should move away from artificial razmattaz of bollywood and those artificial paan masaala plugging advt hungry actor/tresses....Ahmedabad is a worthy place to hold a finals....move away from the big metros - bad air delhi and over hyped mumbai
