Why did we decide to bowl first wth?

Also say what you want but hasan ali has been better than rauf in this tournament.
Raud has had his moments but overall hasn't been good enough.

There was cloud cover in the very beginning but it went away quickly and the sun came out. Also there’s rain expected in the second innings.

Rauf is making them mistime it!! Been unlucky so far, if he bowls like this a wicket will come

Juggling the 10 overs of Chacha and Salman will be difficult for Babar.

Iftikhar came back and got smashed first ball. Good shot from Rachin

typical in banglore, can have 4 seasons over a day. But dew can also be a factor in 2nd innings bowling....
What your guys should try and do is get it to reverse from 35 ov onwards

can we get 1-2 lucky wickets chacha getting phainty of his life better try few overs from saud and agha today

I don't think it is a horrible decision to bring on Chacha especially against a left hander.
And between Chacha and Agha Salman they have to bowl a full 10 overs.

Iftekhar is pushing every ball, making it like a slow medium pace, particularly against the lefti. This will not get any wicket - kiwis will milk 5-7 runs per over without taking any risk.

Agreed, reverse is gonna be the only hope here. I think dew won’t play as much of a factor this time since it’s an earlier day time game.

No need for Pakistan to panic, New Zealand are only scoring at just above 6 runs per over.

330 is a par score at Banglore.

Pak will put the squueze on in the middle

Wasim jnr has to bowl well here. He can be deadly with old ball but he has to bowl well here.

This is slow pitch and Pakistan went with four Pacers ?
Yeah because our spinners are pretty bad to be in the team as well. Hassan is already bowling well and took a wicket as well so he has justified his selection

We need a bit of luck come our way. I still feel we are in it, 300+ total was always on the cards for whoever bats first.

Lockie is pretty useless in Indian conditions unless he is bowling to number 8 to 11 batsmen

Jamieson boult Henry would actually be a better attack although Jamieson in odi is quite average himself
He can bat though.

Waqar having hard time saying Rachin Ravindra. Has now zeroed in on Rachindra after getting into the realm of Ravindra Jadeja.

Salman is a much better spinner than ifti against left hand batsman yet he gets no overs

Full trundler attack today as well for nz.

My days Kane is brave going in with 2 seamers only here

Sodhi will get tonked without cover

IMO Babar fall to overcast conditions… clouds gone, its a bright sunshine… u can’t trust weather
They went for Mickey Arthur formula of four pacers and two part-timers; bowling first was almost given, cloud or no cloud.

People worried about the 5th bowler's overs between Chacha and Agha.

I'm worried about where we're going to hide Rauf's quota.

Looks like Pakistan have mentally settled to the fact that the kiwis will score in excess of 300 runs. So they are simply just trying to get done with the 50-overs. No strategy behind their bowling. Field placement is rendered meaningless.

I think we just need to stop bowling those bad balls, let pressure build up and then let them do stupid stuff

Rauf is a death bowler. He’s not made for for ODI cricket but in this World Cup, he’s being forced to bowl early in the innings and he has no idea how to keep things tight. Leaking runs in the first phase of the innings but comes back to restrict the opposition in the second half. It’s not his fault. It’s a planning issue by the management.
