I don't blame Shaheen. It is difficult for him to live up to the hype when he has countless nutcase fans propping him up as 'unplayable' or whatever. Bowling well and getting wickets at the international level is already difficult as it is. Living up to unreasonable expectations makes it much worse.

Despite everything, Shaheen, to his credit, comes across as a nice and gentlemanly lad. He has hardly made any bombastic statement like other Pakistanis. He quietly goes about his work without much fuss. A true professional.
