I fear both Kusals -- Kusal Mendis as well. He is technically sound, intelligent and can hit the ball hard

I feel sorry for these guys. They prepare mentally for pace and swing but they have been kind of exposed early on against right arm off spin

Indeed he is the one who can shift the momentum in SL's favour.

I think Shaheen is the one who can get him out in the slips or in the guly but babar is not smart enough tol think something out of the box or to make any unconventional change.

Abdullah is a right handed Imam

I think that's a little unfair. Abdullah has shown the ability to hit well in psl and he's shown he can play a much longer and decent innings in test.

He and saud were pur 2 best players in the Sri lanka series. Its just put management is clueless, rather then grooming him, saud and the youngsters who won the acc emerging Asia cup, they didn't groom anyone and brought saud and Abdullah in last minute.

He's forced to play pressure situations, against quality attacks in literal world cups stage. Like his first ever oppotunity to open was against Sri Lanka in a virtual semi final in the asia cup.

Saud functioned because saud is 100× more experienced in List A and FC and he knows how to modify his game for no 5. Abdullah has zero experience. I think he'll come good in odi, just not now though.

But Perera is the old gun. Cold blooded batsman. Pakistan offers pace and Perera is a great attacker of pace early on.

So far the best match was the SA v SL game

It had entertainment but in terms of competitiveness Sri Lanka were in it for about 10 overs that’s it in my opinion. India vs Australia for me was absorbing if they took kohlis catch then it would have been a real nail biter

If Kohli catch was taken India would have lost by 70-80 runs.
