South africa looks imperious .. they are going to punish everyone for their stumble against Netherlands
 
Wankhede is one ground you can score really fast. Dinesh Karthiik's strike rate on this ground in IPL is 170 or something. He brutalized bowlers on this g round.
 
Quinton de Kock now has the highest score for a designated wicketkeeper in World Cup history, surpassing Adam Gilchrist's 149 in the 2007 final against Sri Lanka.

When you play at Wankhede your plan has to be spot on. MI survived many matches in the IPL here because of Malinga and Bumrah at Wankhede. They took pitch out of the equation.

Can't blame him. South Africa are too obsessed with quota system. A talented white player like him should play for another country or league cricket.

yes that is true. I hope if we reach SF's we don't play SA in the Semi finals at Wankhede. They are brutal.
 
Confused clueless team BD. Picked Hasan Mahmud but didnt bowl him much first 30 yes he was rubbish but thats your main frontline bowler!

On flat decks SA will run riot if you don't take wickets quickly.

On turners, pitches that aid swing and true bouncy pitches they will struggle badly. They are nothing special outside flat decks.

Not to derail, but Eng are an over the hill team with ageing spinners, one would have thought bowling wise atleast BD would have stopped the carnage. WTH is the Shakib doing?? BD are good at spin bowling
 
BD didn’t take wickets regular enough to slow them down. Not like England and others did either. SA batting first on a batting track, DEADLY!

Kuldeep and Siraj were all over them last time when SA was in a must win situation as they didn't have direct qualification. If you go bang bang against this batting line up they won't know what to do. You should not allow them partnerships. When you strike even at 100/0. If you make it 100/2 They play differently.
 
Someone check on Athar khan dosent sound too good bangladeshes biggest cheerleader

Only way you can stop SA is with wickets. I think BD should have come up with better defensive plans like wide yorkers. Bowling at the stumps is a recipe for disaster.
 
Pitch is great for batting. But the bowling has been utter garbage after first 10.
 
Just because they bat like this at Wankhede/Delhi doesn't mean they can do the same everywhere. So other teams shouldn't be disheartened. In Chennai you can't bat like this. So Pakistan has a ray of hope.

They are nothing special at all outside flat decks. Even on flat ultr bouncy pitch they struggle.
 
South africa has slowed down in last few overs.. oh wait they are still scoring 10 an over 🤣🤣
 
They bowled too much spin in the first 30, got QDK settled easily. First 10 was fine. On a none spinning wicket they bowled 4 spinners. Pace wouldn’t have made much difference but at least make it difficult for the batsmen!
 
Miller's big weakness is slow ball. Especially wide outside the off stump slow ball> he gets doubly confused as it is not in his arc and off pace.
 
Bad bowling hasn’t enabled them to at least keep SA under 350.

Terrible bowling 20overs onwards.
 
Honestly bowlers go scatter brained once they get hit like this. You need to be a great death bowler to stop this. Someone like Malinga.
 
Why is Shakib insisting on the fast bowlers?
Why did Miraz not complete his overs?
 
But it is all too late. Infact BD was not going to chase anything over 280 despite this being at wankhede. They don't have remotely close to the resources that SA has.

That he does. Still doesn't change the fact that he choked multiple times in ko stages. Could change this year though
 
Gotta tell yourself and your bowlers, we keep SA under 350 is a good effort, gives us a chance. On such wicket with short boundaries!

BD wont get 250 let alone chase this. BD never made 350+ score ever.

This world cup has been rubbish. Not even a single close game. Not a single game.none nada zilch.

Very boring world cup. 2019 was very entertaining to watch.

England is the best place for cricket.
 
These pitches are disgrace for cricket.
382 runs match is already done for other team.
Chasing team doesn't stand a chance.
