If U Khawaja and I Tahir were still Pakistani citizens, which one would you pick in national team?

Suppose Usman Khawaja and Imran Tahir were still Pakistani citizens. Which one of them would you have loved to represent Pakistan for the Champion Trophy

Khwaja without a doubt, plus he doesn't come across as a suck up like Tahir.

Pakistan need a batsman so Khwaja but Tahir has outperformed Khwaja on international stage by a mile for now..

I'd pick Khawaja hesitantly because he's poor against spin and we play most of our cricket in the UAE. However, we lack quality batsman and we've never been short of bowlers (spinners especially).

Tahir

He is the best spinner in ODIs by a long shot.

Khwaja is nothing special in any format.

Usman Khawaj 100%. He can easily replace one of current openers. As we dont have a good leg spinner in LOI, so Imran can also be picked in.

If Khwaja and Tahir were Pakistanis, they wouldn't have been Khwaja and Tahir of today.

Either, their work ethics would be too bad, or even if they were true professionals, they would have lost somewhere in domestics, due to NEPOTISM.

this!
good post

Tahir.

Tahir is a match winner and is more impactful.

With Yasir performing not so well in LOI's, Tahir will be their match winner.

Khawaza is not a match winner.

Both of them. They're both world class players and would walk into almost every side in the world.

Khawaja is most definitely world class and his overseas record reflects that.

The stench of hypocrisy from you is strong. I still remember the hilarious stats manipulation you did to prove that Ravi Ashwin is just as great as Imran Khan was at the same point in their careers.

Khawaja is world class because he can get into most teams as a batsman. He does not need to have great numbers to do that, simply being better than most other middle-order batsmen would suffice.

Middle order batsman need to be able to handle spinners, something Khawaja is incapable of. Being Australia's worst batsman against spin speaks volumes about his middle order batting ability.

Falsely accusing me, good move.
