Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Hafeez take Pakistan to a five-wicket win in first ODI against South Africa

If Pakistan lose this it's because of Imam-ul-Haq throwing it away when he was in FULL control of the chase.

Yaar seriously, Pakistan can’t be Pakistan with out doing this...

Malik and Sarfraz should never play again.

Wont happen though.

We might have to take the bitter pill changing the captain before WC if Sarfaraz remains this pathetic

Two fake all-rounders gone!!
Few more to come.
Lets hope they dont collapse yet again

Specalist middle order making a dogs dinner of what should have been easy run chase with 15 overs left.

Shadab struggles to rotate strike and will put pressure on hafeez here. Imad would've been better. Either ways, this game is going down the wire. Unnecessarily though.

If Hafeez stays, we will be okay. If he gets out now, we are done. Our tail starts now.

Does anyone know the name of this commentator who is impersonating Mark Nicholas?

The heart is racing once again a bit of adrenaline can be felt. The game is becoming interesting and interesting as we near the end.

Had Fakhar stayed that 15 overs to spare could have still been said. But with this team you should be thinking 10000 times before saying anything. :))

Wouldn't be the worst idea for Hafeez to attack one over here. Get at least 8 off it.

He should have been the captain post Misbah when we made Azhar Ali captain by recalling him

i think that was the plan initially when he was made t20 captain... he couldn't handle the pressure and relinquished it soon after

Credit to the captain Sarfaraz and senior Malik

Should have been a comfortable chase at one point but once again the infamous pak batting line up turns up again

2007 in Lahore: Pakistan needed 35 runs off 58 balls with 6 wickets in hand. South Africa won by 14 runs.
2013 in Sharjah: Pakistan need 19 runs off 55 balls with 6 wickets in hand. South Africa won by 1 run.
2019 in Port Elizabeth: Pakistan needed 49 runs off 53 balls with 7 wickets in hand…

This was a scenario where a lower order finisher like an Abdul Razzaq came in handy.

Hoping Shadab can at least keep rotating strike.

looks like hafeez is playing the 2nd imp knock of his career in the last 5 years - after CT final.
So far, going good.

If Sarfaraz and Malik cant even finish this, 300 + is out of question if there ever was a question.

What a time to revisit history.

In spite of his runs in Tests, Shadab has never convinced me with the bat.

Sharjah one was shocking. Very hard to swollow

He lost his job since Channel 9 lost the rights. Strange you just noticed him. He's been the host since the Test series started.

I didn’t get to watch most of the Test series. Was following on PP and Cricinfo mostly.

So is Shadab primarily a batsman or a bowler?

Or is he 50-50 like Afridi?
