I consider myself an ex‑IK supporter, but even I agree that backing the Sharifs, Zardaris or similar figures isn’t the answer.

Out of all the pp posters, i live in pakistan. I live in Punjab.

What i have seen here is more development and infrastructure work has been carried out by PMlN than any other party.

Buzdaar was a dud, pti even in govt behaving like the opposition and did no work.

I have supported ppp in the past, but ppp has sucked in sindh and failed in punjab, pti failed in kpk and punjab. Only party that has lead punjab properly was PMLN and Maryam nawaz had done a 10x better job than anyone else. And none of us expected it from her.

Right now, we feel our voice heard, and geniunely see Maryam as someone making the province better.

Alot of these online supporters or pti you will see are overseas pakistanis that like imran cause of cricket, and love his speeches about corruption. While none of them lived in Pakistan to see how they govern.

Small example, pti is in power in kpk, the cm doesnt like dances, decides to ban dance and music in uni. Even bans female students interacting with male faculty.

TTAP sit-in at Parliament House over Imran’s health concerns enters 3rd day

The sit-in by the main opposition alliance Tehreek-i-Tahafuz-i-Ayin-i-Pakistan (TTAP) at Parliament House over concerns regarding PTI founder Imran Khan’s health entered its third day on Sunday.

After the Supreme Court (SC) was informed on February 12 that Imran’s right eye had only 15 per cent vision remaining, the TTAP announced it would stage a sit-in until the ex-premier was shifted to a hospital of his personal doctors’ choice.

Although government figures on Saturday had hinted that Imran — currently incarcerated at Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail — will soon be shifted to a hospital, no such development had occurred till Sunday morning.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan shared visuals of him, TTAP Chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Senate Opposition Leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, MNA Asad Qaiser and Senator Faisal Javed, among others, sitting at Parliament House.

A TTAP leader, wishing not to be named, told Dawn that things have become more confusing rather than being streamlined.

“Last night we were informed that Imran Khan will be shifted to Shifa International Hospital [in Islamabad], but a demand was made that doctors in the medical board be changed as including doctors of our choice will give a message that the government has gone on the back foot.

“[Therefore,] we decided to show flexibility and gave names of a few more doctors, and there was an understanding that we will not reveal their names in the media,” the TTAP leader said.

He added: “However, today we have been getting messages that first we should call off the sit-in and then Imran Khan will be shifted to the hospital and a medical board will be announced. How can we call off the sit-in without implementation of our demands?” he asked.

Replying to a question, the leader said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi — who is staging a sit-in at KP House in the capital — also contacted government representatives to make it clear that the situation could go out of his control if the issue was not resolved soon.

He added that the government representatives told them that the interior minister was in Sri Lanka, while the National Assembly and Senate chairs were also abroad, making it “difficult to decide” for the authorities.

TTAP Spokesperson Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai told Dawn that it has been decided to continue the sit-in till the fulfilment of the demands.

He termed it unfortunate that the police were allegedly not allowing breakfast to be delivered inside Parliament House for the opposition leaders.

“There are a number of leaders who have diabetes, and it becomes difficult for them to maintain their sugar levels. I fear that some may faint,” he said.

He wondered why the government was not showing flexibility and taking confidence-building measures if it was serious.

Just like Meher Bokhari's mother, 10 years ago my mother also had retina issue although that disease was called "Macular degeneration".

She was and still getting anti-vgef injections since 2014.

Retinal disease are progressive, these injections can slow the progress but no cure for it.

If Imran Khan complaint had been listened in timely manner, what happened in 4 months would have happened after around 10 yrs.

When such thing happens to retina, the patient immediately realise sudden blurryness and pain that cannot be corrected with glasses, only stopper or slower is anti-vegf injection. Surgeries usually don't work and Laser treatment rarely helps.

1. The regime is trying to blame this on family of IK that they didn't raise their voice or denied the reports so they are to be blamed.
Let's get into the facts of this now. Let's start from November 2025 till today makes up for about 4.5 months. In this period of 4.5 months IK has met his sisters only twice. Once at start of November and second in mid of December. Please note that when IK met his sisters in November he did complain about issues in his eyes as something that is irking his (this is at that point in time). For December visit, let's recap what was going on. In November last year the situation in Pakistan was quite tense, the regime was passing 27th amendment to effectively make Asim Munir non-accountable for any actions throughout his lifetime. At the same time laws were being changed so Asim Munir can retain power for immunity. Given this was big change in Pakistan structure times were tense and during this time Asim Munir put IK in solitary confinement to ensure no message comes out from IK twitter and nobody visits him as IK voicing it can garner international viewership on issue. At this time protests by his sisters intensified outside the jail and news started circulating the IK died in jail which is why all meetings are restricted. A lot of international pressure started to build up to let go off the steam the regime allowed a very short 10-15min meet with only one sister. Given this was a meet when adrenaline were high on both parts and it was such a short meet IK spent this time cursing Asim Munir reminding his sister to spread the word that this is guy is mentally not right. Please note no detail discussions on health were held in this time.
Now the regime is trying to pinpoint that given his sister met him in these conditions in December why didn't she highlight the IK eye issue. Hopefully folks on here would now able to understand what really was happening and the tense conditions in which the meet was held.

This can be verified from a number of interviews others have given specifically the interviews given by his kids where they repeatedly say that even when their father is in difficult condition he rarely talks about himself and wants to hear more about his kids are doing whilst passing his knowledge down on religion, socials and morals. So when the news got leaked that IK has been bought to hospital for eye surgery then at that time Aleema rejected this news because she felt they are trying to show IK in a light where he is vulnerable. Please note at this stage Aleema has absolutely no access to IK, the last someone met him was on 9th December 2025 which is explained in point 1 above. Before that the sisters met IK in November 2025. So effectively its incommunicado since November 2025. Also to put into perspective anything news that comes from IK from outside sources means its either sourced by Army or Govt and in the current stage neither the Army nor the Govt can be trusted for anything let alone for giving truth. So Aleema being sceptical rejected this news and said let sisters go meet IK so they can see for themselves or atleast let his physicians meet him who won't give a political statement out. Any poster pointing this out is simply on the hate wagon wishing deaths (very low point for an individual).

This is complete misinformation. This is not above how IK got this problem in the eye, this is about why it wasn't treated or dealt with? Before I say anything further please keep into perspective IK is an ex-PM, legendary cricketer, national icon, philantrophist, leader of the biggest political party in Pakistan and would be fair to say the most famous Pakistani alive. Now if a person of that repute approaches a jail superintendent in October 2025 and says he is having issues with his right eye what should have been the first thing that would have happened in Oct 2025 itself? A set of experts should have examined him straightaway in Oct 2025 identifying the root cause and giving medical attention to him rightaway. Imagine a person of this repute got ignored. Ignored not momentarily but ignored for not 1, not 2, not 3 but ignored for 4 months until he actually lost all his vision in the eye. The point at which he was taken to hospital in the cover of night IK was blind in the right eye and the injection in his eye restored 15% of the vision. All of this can be read from the report submitted into the Supreme Court.
Therefore to blame age for IK's misfortune is assuming that public at large is blind and nobody can see the deliberate negligence and harm imposed upon IK.

From my perspective there is something still at large that no one is understanding. Firstly, one thing is very clear that the Army and Govt. made a massive blunder and the result of that is IK is blind in one eye. This is a massive blunder which they know has the potential of Govt. being toppled. Let's see how things pan out.

Having said that we need to ask the question why was this news about IK eye let out to the public? If Army wanted they could have stayed quiet on this blunder for longer given access to IK was completely restricted as explained above so there is no way no one would have got to this information. Please don't believe any journalist's story that this news got leaked, no. This news was deliberately given to journalist to be released to public and I still cannot fathom why would the army do that?

The only thing that comes to my mind is Gaza. Asim Munir and Shahbaz Sharif are going to shake hands with Netanyahu next week in DC. This is unchartered territory for the Army and they have no idea how the public at large would react once images come out them sitting with Netanyahu and signing deals with Israel. So to manage public opinion they needed PTI on board because PTI = public opinion. This is why the relationship with PTI is currently being managed and its trying to portray a soft image by Army for PTI. Again having said this I'm very confident that until Asim Munir is in power there will be no soft corner for IK, there might be soft corner for PTI as a party but not for IK. Till Asim Munir is in power there would be more misery and deliberate harm imposed upon IK. IK will continue to remain disconnected with outside world. If there are signs that IK starts meeting with outside world or his images get out to public then rest assured Asim Munir is then losing power. I'm very certain that only 1 of the 2 can exist they cannot co-exist. Let's see how things pan out in the coming days. After a long-time people of Pakistan starting to get their voices back and are voicing it.

Even though I have great admiration for IK and he is the best role model for any Pakistani, we as Pakistanis shouldn't take our eyes off of what is happening between Pakistan and Israel over Gaza. As a Muslim this is the biggest lanat that our so-called leaders would be shaking hands the very person that killed over 100,000 Palestinians in just 2 years. Please let that sink in and come to realization.

Reading the report submitted to supreme Court, it says Imran khan was given just eye drops despite plead by IK that his vision is detoriating and he asked to be seen by his personal physician which was denied.

The authorities took action when IK informed them that he can't see anything from his right eye, meaning the disease reached the severe stage and then they took action.

The jail authorities did not allow personal physician to visit Imran Khan for around 1 year or so. If he had visited him when the early symptoms arised then he would have refered him to a retina specialist rather then just providing him eye drops that don't treat anything on this disease.

Now if we compare this with that Supreme Court lawyer said then in the report it mentions that IK started complaining about the eye in October and was initially put on eye-drops for months. What i have seen here is more development and infrastructure work has been carried out by PMlN than any other party.

Buzdaar was a dud, pti even in govt behaving like the opposition and did no work.

I have supported ppp in the past, but ppp has sucked in sindh and failed in punjab, pti failed in kpk and punjab. Only party that has lead punjab properly was PMLN and Maryam nawaz had done a 10x better job than anyone else. And none of us expected it from her.

I have very simple question. Why an ailing prisoner isn't allowed to meet his sisters or his personal physicians examine him? No remember we are talking about an ex-PM here. Yep. The hypocricy from these so called patriots is mind boggling. One sits in a foreign country and gives bhaashan to others on their allegiance and one speaks in a tone that reeks jealousy and disappointment and sh**s on people who criticize establishment.
