Hats off to Immy in making these immense efforts to let the world know about the plight of the innocent Kashmiris. He should also know that all the secular Indians are also with him in this fight against oppression!

Kaptan saheb doing a desperate act of attention seeking on a matter in which he has no business what so ever....That too after twisting matters so differently to suit his own selfish motives.

For the poster above:
Fighting genocide is everyone’s business. I am surprised and ashamed on behalf of people like you who overlook human suffering to serve nationalistic egotistical agenda.

the matters you described above are those of your won imaginations.....far from truth...If a few humans there are subjected to the treatment of law, then those are the results of their own actions.... that is creating unnecessary problems for nothing. So, they have themselves to blame, no one esle.

Treatment of law is the most creative cover for genocide I have ever seen, well done.

If you’d like to live in an alternate universe and pretend nothing is wrong in Kashmir, then I’m afraid there’s not much to discuss.

I’ll leave you with one puzzle: if there really only were a few people in Kashmir causing all the trouble, and everyone else was happy, why would India deploy 700,000 soldiers to deal with these few?

Doesn’t add up ... don’t you think?

once a problem has been created unnecessarily at first place , to deploy 'what ever be' the number of soldiers is dependant on the 'concerned' government, here in this case Indian government. And they do this based on various strategic reasons that they alone knows and rightly so because they are in the most apt positions to decide on those matters lot more than me or you..
So the best solution is not to create unnecessary problems at the first place. Then these reactions too will not occur.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal on Thursday said that India has converted occupied Kashmir into the world’s biggest prison with the ongoing curfew and communications blackout, after the Narendra Modi government abolished the special status granted to the disputed valley.

In his weekly press briefing, the spokesperson noted that the aggression exhibited by India posed a danger to regional peace, and called on the international community to take notice of the atrocities being perpetrated by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.

“The demonstrations around the world against Modi government’s policies will continue. Until when will India continue the curfew? The [lockdown] will have to end one day,” Dr Faisal said.

He further said Pakistan was holding consultations for approaching the International Court of Justice (ICJ) over the widespread human rights abuses in occupied Kashmir.

The spokesperson expressed concern over suspension of hundreds of Twitter accounts belonging to Pakistani users after they wrote posts in support of Kashmir. “We are deeply concerned over the [reports] of suspended accounts and we are raising the issue with the relevant companies,” he said.

A number of journalists, activists, and government officials have claimed that their accounts were suspended after they tweeted in support of Kashmir freedom. #StopSuspendingPakistanis began trending on Twitter in Pakistan earlier this week.

Dr Faisal added that the Wagah border was open, and if anyone needed any help they could contact the Pakistan Foreign Office.

The Foreign Office spokesperson said Pakistan strongly condemns the unprovoked ceasefire violations at the Line of Control by India that martyred a number of people.

He said Pakistan will approach every forum in the world against India’s actions in occupied Kashmir.

Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, he said, adding that the country will continue its efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.

SLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Thursday that international organisations had admitted that the situation in Indian occupied Kashmir had severely deteriorated.

“People take matters into their own hands when there is no food, medicines available and the elderly and children are in a dire situation,” Qureshi said.

The foreign minister said there had been a call given in occupied Kashmir to defy curfew after Friday prayers. “What will happen next?. They [India] will try to subdue this with bullets. There will be a massacre there.”

Qureshi added that he would be speaking with the Human Rights Commissioner of the United Nations and had also written a letter. “Till when will you remain silent. The crimes of crimes in international law is genocide and this is where India is heading. It is the responsibility of everyone to stop this.”

US-based Genocide Watch has issued an alert and urged the United Nations and its members to warn India not commit genocide in Indian occupied Kashmir.

Occupied Kashmir has been under curfew and lockdown since August 5 after the Indian government abolished Article 370, which granted special status to the valley. The curfew and lockdown has led to protests in the valley with thousands of Kashmiris including Hurriyat leaders placed under house arrest or detained.

“On August 5, the Indian President revoked the Special Autonomous Status of India Administered Jammu and Kashmir under Articles 370 and 35A of the Constitution of India. India has over 600,000 troops in Kashmir. Movement of people and freedom of the press are restricted. India has cut off internet communications,” Genocide Watch said in its alert.

Moral of the story for problem making citizens.... don't initiate unnecessary problems at first place for strange reasons which the vast majority of rational thinking people of the nation find hard to digest Obey law and order. Once the problems get started it is really difficult to forecast the level of reactions & consequences. So better not to initiate creating problems

PM Imran, German Chancellor Merkel discuss Indian actions in occupied Kashmir
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday spoke with German Chancellor Dr Angela Merkel and discussed India’s illegal and unilateral actions aimed at altering the disputed status of occupied Kashmir and changing its demographic structure.

During the telephone conversation, Prime Minister Imran Khan informed Chancellor Merkel that India’s actions were in direct contravention of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions, international laws and its own solemn commitments, said a press release from the PM Office.

“The Prime Minister highlighted the dire human rights situation in the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, including complete lockdown, blackout on all forms of communication and severe shortage of food and medicines. He stressed that intensified Indian repression could result in massive loss of Kashmiri lives, which must be prevented at all costs,” it added.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also informed Merkel about concerns over some false flag operation staged by India or some other ill-conceived step at the Line of Control (LoC) to divert the world’s attention.

“The Prime Minister emphasized that India’s actions had serious implications for peace and security in the region and the international community had the responsibility to act urgently,” said the press release.

Chancellor Merkel stated that Germany was closely observing the situation. She underlined the importance of de-escalation of tensions and the resolution of issues peacefully.

The two leaders agreed to continue to work together for peace and stability in the region.
