India 12 Pakistan 0 in all World Cup events

I can see Pakistan going home with only a win against Bangladesh.

Seriously, forget the results, what this tournament will show is the gulf in class when it comes to batting with teams like Australia, India, England, South Africa, New Zealand and the rest: Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe.

The top tier teams all have batsmen who can score quickly by playing classical strokes and with minimal risks, as well as power hitters who can do damage when needed.

agreed .... everything was going for Pak till about 70% of the match and then Kohli the badass villain who kills puppies for passtime happened .. :yk2

I think you missed the little Master 'Khurram Manzoor' today! He would have made kohli's knock look like a match losing one, such is his class :don
 
The number is getting ridiculous now. Frankly speaking I am struggling to even recall the last few matches. Its been the same story, the same script literally getting repeated time and again.
 
India has been a superior team than Pakistan in every department since the 21st century. They really have dominated us for the past 16 years. I do not see Pakistan winning a match against India anytime soon.

At least Dhoni won't be captain when it happens. He's a nice guy I don't want him to face any backlash.
 
Streak will end sometime unless India or Pakistan stop playing world cups or the difference just becomes too hugeit is bound to end sometime..

Can only cherish while it lasts..

I think the Asia cup match this year will be a good indication of how good Pakistan’s chances are of ending the streak is.

Mickey and Sarfraz have created a new and improved Pakistan team(compared to the last couple of years) and it will be a good time to test whether this team really is competitive or whether it’s more false hope.

India vs Pakistan is about handling pressure, doesn’t matter which team is better on paper in a one off match whoever handles pressure wins.. Pakistan has a good team no doubt but India has a stronger team however in a one of its 50-50.. If they played 100 matches in 1 year India will win 65-70 off them but in a one off Pakistan has equal chance..

Anyways I hope it’s a good contest, Amir vs kohli or Hasan vs kohli is a fascinating contest..
 
india is too strong for Pakistan, especially when we have a poor bowling side after a long long time, last time we had poor bowlers was in 83 WC.

Correct.
Pakistan had a better team at 1992 world cup.

In 1996 and 2003 they were at least equally strong as Indian team.
In all these 3 world cups they were not able to handle the pressure as well as Indians.

2011 and 2015 - India were better team.
 
Kohli can end this lol He is capable of mucking up. If Pakistan is blessed with top spinners they can pose problem. Indians don't have problem with pacers. May be left armers with new ball. But if they roll out roads like this and bowl with kookaburra balls they are going to be thrashed as well.

Wahab was red hot then,Sohail khan was doing good, rahat was decent, there was Mohd Irfan too in it.The only reason we won few games in that WC was coz of our bowling.

Pressure is one thing, but you can see that this Pak team has been doing poorly since a long time now and is not because of pressure but the team is lacking in some departments.If we continue to bowl and field like we have been doing then we will loose most matches.

96 Pakistan was better team. Until late 90's India was overly dependant on Sachin.
 
We have to end the streak this time. Don’t feel confident but maybe that means we will end it this time.

Yes but in a 10 match series India will win 8-9 times against Pakistan. However in a 1 off match underdogs always have a chance. Pakistan team is not close to Indian team right now but they still have a chance to win. Good thing about current Indian players is that they have experienced pressure situations many time because of IPL. So hopefully they will be able to cope up and play to their strength and that should be an easy win.

I don't know why, but beating India in WC doesn't seem to be an obsession anymore, maybe it is because of CT'17 or something else, but Ind vs Pak league game isn't going to be a big deal for me this time around.

I don't know why this is happening because was extremely upset after the losses in Mohali, MCC, T20WC

Maybe I don't expect us to win the league game against them, but then again it's more important for us to the 6 easier games that we are gonna get, which should be enough to get us into the semis.

I am gonna tell you one thing, you can't predict "easy" wins in this WC.
 
I just want my side to play a good game against India, losing the game won't be that big a deal, but the manner in which we play would surely be something that I would be looking at.
 
In before Indians start saying "oh but this year it looks like the streak will end for XYZ reasons" only for Pakistan to be thumped later on yet again.
 
This is one of my biggest gripes with our ex-superstar cricketers who could never beat India when it mattered.Thats where the current Pak team has my respect as they won us the arguably the biggest game in our cricket history.Our ex-cricketers except Imran won those useless coca cola cups and failed at biggest stage.

One thing i noticed iNdians up their game against Pakistan in world cups. Especially bowlers. Munaf Patel who was largely a trundler in 2011 world cup, was clocking close to 145k in the match against Pakistan. There is no telling how much new and improved Bumrah will step up. It all boils down to how Kohli does the captaincy. That is the only fear.

Coming to think of it, I think 1996 was the one where Pakistan were dominating initially. As far as I remember, it was after amir sohail departure who created some kind of panic and then Pakistan went in to a shell.

It was never that big a deal to begin with. It was just a mirage setup to distract people from Pakistan's overall dominant winning record against India in ODI's.

In last 5 years or so we have lost to India a lot, that's the real thing that matters.
 
I do not remember when....but in either one of 2011 or 2015 worldcup after Indian won the Pakistan game he mentioned in presentation ceremony "One day Pakistan will win in Worldcup against us".
Will it be in 2019 ?
 
1996 and 2011 were the worst 2 probably. We found a way to lose from very winnable positions.

1996 could have turned the whole psyche of Pak against Ind in WC, but not be. That dominant opening was never witnessed before in a WC against Ind by any Pak fan. I was watching that semi in an Indian bar with fiends. Back then, it was not easy to get to see cricket in USA. The way we were cheering and Indians all hushed was one of the most cheerful moments of life. Then Amir had a brain flip...:trump2

India has been a better team consistently since the 2003 world cup. No wonder this reflects in the head to head world cup record.

Pakistan was easily better in 1992, 1996, and 1999 yet the likes of Wasim, Waqar, Inzamam, Malik, Anwar, Saqlain, etc. all Pakistani ATGs failed to beat India which should be held against them.

NOthing was closer. There were a couple of times Pakistan looked like running away and they just lost steam after Amir Sohai's dismissal both times. Also there is a customary run out for Pakistan in an India vs Pak encounter.

6 matches 4 run outs

1992 Imran Khan run out
1992 Mustaq run out
1996 Javed Miandad run out
2003 Inzamam run out

Going by the trend old guys get run out lol.. I suppose Malik will get run out? Mos trecently Malik got run out in Asia cup.
 
Can't wait this match to be over, to be honest, so we can all focus on the actual games/winning world cup and not the hype around some games.
 
It is time to face our reckoning, my Indian brothers. This wonderful streak, which was already on life support, is about to end and Virat kohli, the cursed child, will be the last on the sinking ship. This loss is going to hurt just like CT final so brace yourselves!
 
From a World Cup point of view, a win for Pakistan is far more important than a win for India.

However, as we know that India and Pakistan matches go way beyond this and the rivalry is so intense that both team would love to go beyond limits and do all they can to earn a victory in this game.
 
Its a sunny day in manchester, i can see Pak getting trashed in a totally one sided game today.
 
Well even the commentators this morning have said it is 6-0, and not 11-0

Inshallah 6-1 in about 9 hours!

Pakistan will only beat India when they field a better team. Right now, India wipes the floor with Pakistan in every aspect of the game.
 
All the matches have been 1 sided not once have they put up a fight.. YUK!!
