@Hitman see this is why I forwarded Travis Head. His numbers atm aren't reflecting his caliber.

He's always been the type of player that either you dismiss early before he reaches his 50, otherwise big score coming up. He won't be able to take aus home today but this is what makes him very very dangerous especially in odi's.

Test less so cause test requires support.

I've always been impressed by his ability to score runs at a very rapid rate (Test standards). His inconsistency was what put me off in the premier format. By the way, Bumrah has got Head as i'm typing this.

Good knock though.

why is he averaging 22 against Paksitan in 10 tests?

Naah, Sehwag was far, far more aggressive in Tests. So much that still remains exceptional with an SR of 82.23 over 104 Tests. Back in the days of Sachin and Lara, an SR of 60 in Tests was considered exceptional. Head definitely is very aggressive with an SR of 65.23 currently over 49 Tests.​
 
With head gone, it’s over for Aus to have any comeback.
Good fighting knock from head. Target is too big.

Umpire rudi said Hayden,symo are one of the worst players he ever saw.They will abuse/bully the batsmen by turning their backs on batsmen and watching the crowd. Hayden even said he wants to knock ishant in a boxing match as he cant bat against ishant.

well is that not the way innings are sized up here on pakpassion? if it is a winning cause, it is brilliant, and any innings in a losing cause, regardless of the opposition, or how contrary to the rest of the team's performance it may have been, or even how close to the eventual target it gets the team... it is useless / pointless / stat padding / meaningless.

LOL, they conveniently forget their adopted hero Brian Lara holds the record of scoring the maximum Test centuries that resulted in loses for his team.
 
This is just a mere formality , I am sure Indian players would be looking at IPL with more interest.

This is why I never had Australia as favorites to win the BGT. But Australia keeps getting overrated

All of Australia's current top 4 are vulnerable. It is very concerning signs for them.

Australia have done well to get to 200 runs from 17/4. They have something to build going forward.

To be honest I am also surprised at the way they lost wickets in first innings , you would have expected them to get 200 at least , that is why I feel making a comeback for Aussies will be very difficult in this series.

Bro its not a 2nd string pak team. Yes they didn't select certain players however that's no different from India not letting jaiswal play a single game in t20 wc due to rohit × kohli bias.

Saim Ayub + Abdullah have been mainstay openers for a while mainly because both Imam + Fakhar made comments on Shan and Babar which pcb did not like. And pcb is petty as always.

Then Kamran Ghulam is literally the chosen one to replace Babar Azam in test cricket and he almoat always outperforms bobby in List A.

Agha + Rizwan are mainstream as is and so is rauf + Husnain has recently played in aus and is now playing in Zimbabwe.

This is pakistan at full strength. If you think Babar + Shaheen + Naseem would have made a difference then with all due respect (As I respect you alot) but you're wrong.

Babar would be a bunny against spin on this pitch, Shaheen and Naseem aren't doing any better, infact faisal Akram is better than they are since he's a spinner and taking 3+ wickets in this pitch.

As for irfan Khan niazi, Chacha is no body, any replacement for chacha is irrelevant

Only Jamal + Hasebullah + Kamran are new.

Pakistan is still playing at 90% full strength

If jaiswal/opposition player played a great knock ,it's a batting wicket
 
So impressive, that india managed to win despite playing with a new-ish team
and winning after getting out for 150 in the first innings
