He is nto good enough for second string team too. His own partner Sai Sudarshan for GT is better than Gill in T20. Besides he is now a full time test player. So his game has changed. Suddenly trying to play T20 is not going to come naturally.

The thing is for India this is just a good warm-up.. Somewhat less than a tough Bronco test to prepare for the World T20. Pakistan team, players, etc does not even exist in there mindspace. No Handshakes, full arrogance shown to Pakistanis.
Used and abused is what Pakistanis must feel but they will definitely celebrate on social media.

Their bowling is still good. I still don't think Faheem is not a good option outside UAE type wickets. THey can bring in someone else.

His job is hurrying batters between 7-15
Every time Pak have given him overs 19-20 he stuffs up

Tilak is a type of batter who can thrive on all conditions. Proper batter. He can consolidate and also can hit big.

Abhishek may not be able to do well on slow surfaces (like we saw tonight).

He has been impressive sometimes. But at other times lost his brains. The plan was super simple. Wide outside the off stump and full.

Where is that revenge gang hide now..some much talk but result is same. They need to boot out this captain Agha. The guy is a ****. U can't win crucial games with this garbage team. I still believe their Coach Hesson is not bad at all. He take this handicap team to the finals and give the tough time to best team.

They need an all-rounder for that role and Faheem has done alright with bat and ball, all things considered. I also think he will get plundered on faster wickets but that's a risk Pakistan will have to take because they don't have anyone else for this type of role.
 
Good game of cricket played. India was always the better side.

Kuldeep bowled 3 bad overs, but his last over won his team the game. Wonderful bowler. Deserves the full praise and is rightly the player of the tournament.

India's approach was contrasting to Pakistans. Pakistan was focussed on getting to 200 by striking everything and they lost their wickets. Meanwhile what Gambhir did was he told his guys to take it till the last over and wait for Rauf. India didnt strike needlessly when Varma and Dube were batting and that helped them win the game.

They trusted themselves and knew that Rauf will bowl his garbage.

And a shutout to Indian Railways, whose on train reached its destination early by missing stops in between,

Nothing in cricket should be measured without context. That's the easiest and simplest thing to understand cricket. Farhan had a good SR today but his innings was useless because he let go at a crucial juncture. He had hit a six, all he needed was to continue with the flow.

Same with Fakhar. No amount of strike rate can justify such.

You need proper batters who can adapt. Unfortunately, however, Babar's loss of form is the reason why he's out and not just his strike rate. Rizwan has a genuine case to make it back as well because Haris is a terrible batter & an even worse keeper. When you talk a big game and have nothing to back it up, you deserve nothing.

Indeed , out of all Amir was brave enough to take the ball in super over when they had Shaheen and Haris rauf who is been bowling for years unlike Amir in the intl arena..

Rauf is a crap bowler , who bowls like a bowling machine and zero knowledge about cricket, his lack of red ball cricket was shown many times on fiedl..

Pakistan needs to have a bigger picture. THey need to get rid of atleast 4 or 5 guys. This blind idea of "keep playing the same Xi will make them better" is a fail strategy.

Surya is done. I think he should be done at 35 years of age. Hand eye coordination that hereli3s on gets worse at this age. Shreyas Iyer is a better batsman and a good captain. It should be a straight replacement with rest of the team intact.

T20 Final won from impossible situation defended 32 off 30 with 6 wickets left

Oval Test Defended 70 odd Runs with half of England Batting intact

And Asia Cup Final , first under the pump during the fielding , 113/1 to 146 all out and then chasing it from bad position of 20/3
 
Deserved to lose this. Slap on the face of those who were bigging up this team. The defeat reflects on the affairs of the Country and the nation- where people are happy to win imaginary wars in battlefields

All he does is chewing gum and waving his hands around making random field changes. But for instructions from Hesson this match would have been over in 18th over lol
 
Well done for the fight . Positives are only sahibzada Farhan and our bowling barring rauf today . Pakistan need to seriously think what to do with Saim the batter ? Harris keeper . Talat ? Agha batting is also under question mark .
 
And Pakistan played a brilliant game. Honestly, I never imagined they would put up such a fight today. 64 runs in 6 overs were defendable, but Agha's captaincy cost Pakistan the match.

Why did he remove the spinner when they were bowling so well? That over from Rauf gave India the momentum we needed.

Brainless captaincy and batting by Agha cost the match

As much as I wanna blame rauf but your main culprit was middle order who couldn’t even manage 30 runs
