India [153/4] beat Sri Lanka [152/9] by 6 wickets in 4th match of Nidahas Trophy

Rahul gets a game finally.

He has been badly out of form. Hope he finds some form and solidifies that middle order slot. Tired of seeing the likes of Iyer, Pandey, Jadhav etc.... These guys are not even half as talented as Rahul.
 
Washington Sundar is a serious talent. He has already impressed me without even showcasing his batting. This kid is only going to get better with the age. He's find of 2018 for India.
 
Can't bat , can't bowl and can't field
Unadkat is a specialist in making up numbers
 
Chahal has lost some confidence after the phainty he got from Klassen in the SA T20 series. Bowling 1 or 2 rubbish balls every over now.

I have no idea what selectors see in this guy. Even IPL has paid crazy amount for this mediocre bowler. Anyone who watches him for a couple of hours know that he is average at best.

Unadkat is a TTF and a trundler and that will never change.
 
Chahal without Dhoni's guidance behind the stumps, is just a clueless chicken. Looks like a rookie totally.
 
We should ask our neighbours for some fast bowlers. We need a few. Shami, Bhuvneshwar and Bumrah are good but it looks like that’s all we’ve got.

I am afraid, Chahal is a mental midget. When he gets hit, he loses his confidence. He is no Kuldeep Yadav.

Chahal bowls so many hit me deliveries and in this T20 tri-series, he is clearly outbowled by a newbiw Washington Sundar.

SA made Chahal great in the ODI series as they were pretty poor players of spin. Once Klassen gave him Phainty in the T20 series, he started looking very average.

Everyone has trouble bowling with wet ball. But bowling these many hit me deliveries is pathetic.

ITs not we don't have. Our selectors keep pushing the likes of Siraj, Unadkat, Thakur etc.. There are good pacers like Avesh, Khaleel etc in domestics. But they don't get opportunities.

I have no problem in Chahal getting flak. But to credit Dhoni for every good thing in Indian cricket is just utter crazy
 
Impressed with Shankar. He bowls in mid 130's and is pretty accurate. He also has nice variations and is not a gun barrel straight bowler.

Shankar >>>> Unadkat + Thakur.

Yes dude. Fair enough. I just think today generally every one is having problem holding the ball. And please don't credit Dhoni for random things. That guy is a like a bubble gum that got sticked on ur Chappell. Won't go easily

Credit should be given where it is due. Didn't you see the interview given by Chahal Kuldeep Duo after the successful SA tour? They both credited Dhoni s guidance behind the stumps helped them immensely to bowl in right areas and take wickets. When the players themselves admit it, who are you to deny it?

Considering Azhar doesn't get picked any more and Hafeez showed what he can do last time our two teams met, you couldn't have picked worse players to come back at me LMAO

Last time India went to NZ they lost 4-0. Last time we went to SA we beat ATG SA 2-1. That side had AB, Kallis, Amla, Steyn LMAO

Both can bowl at 140k's and pretty decent. They are not world beaters. But much better bowlers than Unadkat and Thakur.

Avesh, Khaleel can be very good backups for BK and Bumrah.

I am waiting to see how the U19 stars Mavi/Nagarkoti fare in IPL against some big names in cricket. Hope they succeed. They are fast, can bowl excellent yorkers and very atheltic.

Both played in last ODI series. Actually i was alluding to both sets of stupid selectors. But you misunderstood me.

Yeah , the bowling lineup of Tsotsobe , McLaren was bowling 170kmph thunderbolts and U guys still won. Bravo !!
 
Ok enough trolling for today... I just get excited when India get a phainta. Enjoy the match guys. SL bowling is even worse than India you will win easy :ibutt

We’re playing with second bench bowlers who are certainly not as good as Pakistan’s second bench bowlers. But atleast we accept our faults/issues instead of telling people to not watch our games :)) :P.

It's not just Chahal, even Kuldeep spoke in detail about how much Dhoni guides them. If the entire cricketing fraternity is admiting this fact, then there's something right Dhoni is doing. If you have problem with him, that's your opinion and I respect it. But the majority of masses know what Dhoni's contribution behind the stumps is and I'm not buying it if you say he's a glued to chappel.

4th T20 50 for Kusal in 5 matches in 2018. Apart from the other high scores in the ODIs and Tests. Has really hit the ground running.
 
These bowlers are making us remember our troubles we had before the emergence of BK/Bumrah/Shami.

Funny to think that BK and Bumrah are instrumental in winning us ODI's and T20's with their bowling considering how poor we have been with the ball since time immemorial.
 
All rounders Sundar and Shankar have out bowled the main bowlers Unadkat and Thakur.

Hope we get to see how Shankar and Sundar bat.

Sunndar is not that good at batting right now ... he's a bit like Kuldeep in that regard .... hope he improves. Shankar on the other hand is a very solid bat ... definitely want to see him bat.
 
Wow. Surely India have better bowlers than this lot? So much investment in their system and their bench strength has bowlers barely good enough for club cricket.

Yes we did find Washington Sundar and Shankar is this series and investment never went in vain. They are no club cricketers and your attempt to defame Indian cricket is utterly flopped again. Better luck next time.

Shankar should not be within a mile of the current Indian team. Gun barrel straight at 125 is not what you ant in international cricket. No wonder Pandya is so cocky considering how bad his replacements are

This is how the Million Dollar man bowls. Why were the IPL teams bidding like crazed Monkeys over this trundelr is a mystery.

I was talking about his batting tho ... if he turns out a decent bat maybe both him & Pandya can play in the same line-up with his overs being insurance.

Shankar is not as bad as you are making him out to be with the ball. He is better than Unadkat with the ball. So can easily fit in the team as a 5th or 6th bowler.

His strength is batting. He can score briskly and he is not a slogger. But he can hit big. Hope he succeeds with the bat. India desperately needs strong middle order.

Shankar needs to be better than Jadhav in batting to get that spot.

Like I said, If he is better bat than Jadhav, then maybe. But this bowling will be thrashed in the WC. No.4, No.5, No.6 are reserved for Raina/Manish/Iyer/Dhoni/Jadhav. Heck, KL Rahul isnt even in contention I heard
