Rohit is batting like a tailender. He has been batting that way since SA series.

2017, he was scoring hundreds for fun. Now he is finding it hard to score even a single.
 
Hider is a good bowler. Better than Rubel and the plethora of other trundlers.

When Rohit is out of Form, he looks like the worst batsman ever. No feet movement and finding fielders on the lucky ones he connects.

Rohit is feast or famine. Has been like that since his debut. Had a brilliant 2017 though.

How is the pitch? Rohit's knock can either be a match winning one or a match losing one depending on the pitch.

Pitch is on the slower side. But India needs 180 here to have a chance.

Indian bowling has become even more worse with Siraj in the lineup. He will be taken to the cleaners. The guy has no variations and trundles at a gentle 130kph. Someone like Tamim or Mushfiqur will take him to the cleaners.
 
Looking at the scorecard, India will do well to go above 160.

That does not seem enough looking at their bowling line-up.

This is why Raina is such a valuable T20 and ODI player.

This is just his batting. He can also bowl a few decent overs and can affect the game with his brilliant fielding.

Bangla bowling was Mustafizur. Unfortunately he does not look like the same bowler anymore. No more deadly yorkers or cutters.

Once Mustafiz is negotiated, the rest are just cannon fodder.

Hider went for a lot of runs, but he is a good bowler. He was a bit unlucky.
 
180 is not insurmountable against this Indian bowling 'attack'.

Bangladesh still has a chance here.

So basically BD needs 126 in 16 overs.

I am already deducting 50 runs from 4 overs of Siraj.
 
End of Rohit's selfish innings. We are definitely 20 runs short. Rohit will the be sole cause if India loses this match.

I don't disagree with ur point. Fizz isn't the same bowler as he was at the beginning of hiss career. He has failed to add other weapons in his armory and once his novelty factor wore off, he became another worthless trundler from Bangladesh.

However, there is no doubt about the fact that our bowling attack has gone down hill under Walsh. Under H streak our bowlers bowled according to a plan, especially at the later part of the innings. But now a days it seems like our bowlers just go there and bowl without any plans.

I dont think so bro, either pitch isnt really good to bat or BD bowled good, whatever it may be 89 off 61 is not at all selfish,, i think he played sensible or india wouldnt have reached these much

He made it up in the end. Agreed that he looked scratchy for almost 70% of his innings.

This is why we need MSD right? He would scored a century in 50 balls to take India past 200.

150 S/R is not selfish. But it is not the best innings either.
 
Even an incompetent board like WICB realised Walsh isn't suitable to coach a national team. Why on earth our board haven't realised thus yet.

How long will we have to tolerate this torture. Walsh has to be one of the worst coaches to ever work with Bangladesh cricket team. Absolutely worthless.
 
Good total all things considered. Contrary to the popular opinion here I would take Siraj over Unadkat because I would take anyone over him :P . Anyways let's see what he's made of as well.

Playing at 100 strike rate till 10th over with 10 wickets in hand is criminal in T20s. It doesn't matter weather he makes it up in the end. And Dhoni is not an opener and he would have left Rohit in dust if he ever played as Opening batsman for India.

We have seen Siraj before. In IPL and a couple of T20 Internationals. Terrible bowler. Just a hit me type.

MSD is a terrible T20 batsman. Even in IPL, he was pathetic. Id MSD opens, he would have scored 25(25) at best.

This series should end the careers of Thakur/Unadkat duo. Pathetic is one word to describe the two.
 
This should force the selectors and Kohli to give chances to Khaleel, Avesh and the U19 stars.
 
Two of the dumbest players from Bangladesh team are liton das and Soumya sarkar. I don't think any of them have any gray matter Inside their head :facepalm:

Sundar is not a big spinner of the ball. He has brains and bowls according to what batsmen is trying to do.

Not sure this kind of bowling will work on total roads in England.
 
Good Little inning from Tamim. He should play like Rohit and stability the entire BD inns.
Too much BD style cricket flowing in his blood.
 
Review wasted and this LBW was clean out. But the magic boy did it in the next ball. 3rd wicket for Sundar. This is the beginning of a future star of Indian cricket. He's not next harbhajan or ashwin. He's the first WASHINGTON SUNDAR. Bravo!
