India (209/3) smoke New Zealand (208/6) by 7 wickets to take 2-0 lead in the 5-match T20I series

Dude on what logic are these predictions made? Ind is absolutely shellacking NZ - and you come up with gems like "NZ will most likely win this"? Unfortunately this match isn't against the Pak t20 line up where even a 30 off 30 could get spicy.
If you don't wanna get trolled - use more logic in your predictions and less hate against a religion or a country

There are a few guys like @Rana get more out of these matches a pak cricket fan than other fans. He wants his team bat this way. If i were a fan i would try to do what better teams do .

Look bro no shame in admitting india is far ahead of other teams in t20 i mean even on india off day you have to hope for a miracle to win forgetr asian sides even sena teams are getting destroyed by india pretty easily.

On turgid UAE pitches you have a chacne as ball doesn't come on to bat as much. Not a good matchup for India. But on flat wickets which is what you get in world cups you have to be cut above in all departments. India's problem si terrible fielding. The day their fielding improves they will be much better.

India's biggest problem has been SKY who occupies key position. If SKY gets another peak it will be a dangerous unit.

Australia beat India in the first game of that series.

It was a good series.

Pakistan is nowhere close, sorry.
 
Finally a batting unit where early wickets are not an issue.

Tremendous approach from a fringe player like Kishan. Although he may not stay so after this innings

Few things

1. India was not at full strength. Pandya was not playing.

2. The match was not really "close". Once Tilak-Samson had their partnership, it was over. 70 off 46 with India having batting till 8 was a no contest. The likes of Rinku and Axar were still there (alongside Tilak and Dube of course). That's a RR below 9 which is nothing in T20s.

Scary unreal IPL talent in the Indian team. Every batter batted at a strike rate of 200. Imagine what this Indian team will do to Pakistan

I don't think so, you will still have Babar and Rizwan striking at 100-110 scoring slow selfish 50's and leaving the middle and lower order to score at 12-15 runs per over.

Put in to bat first, the Black Caps piled up 208 for six, setting India a challenging target. However, the hosts made light work of the chase, completing it with a staggering 28 balls to spare.

India were in early trouble at 6 for 2 in the second over, but Ishan Kishan turned the game on its head with a whirlwind 76 off 32 balls. He was brilliantly supported by Suryakumar, whose fearless strokeplay dismantled the New Zealand bowling attack.

Shivam Dube added the finishing touches with a quick-fire 36 not out off 18 deliveries, ensuring a commanding victory for India.
 
India's T20 juggernaut is going to be very hard to stop, especially on these pitches where alot of the times it feels like their batsmen are playing stick cricket.

I think Australia can probably take India out with a bit of luck. Maybe NZ too if they play the right combination.

Other teams will find it very tough to even compete with us on these pitches

Bowling and Fielding will play a big role in ICC eventsmore than batting. India won due to bowling and fielding right at the end.

Yeah, that might be the difference. India's catching and fielding has been rubbish off late.

If the Antipodeans's out cricket is exceptional, they have the best chance of knocking us out
 
I would say T20 has totally destroyed Indian Test cricket. We are going to be the next West Indies or Pakistan once Bumrah and Pant calls it a day. No young kids coming in the future would have the mental capacity to play test matches...

I won't say that. India has players like Smaran, Sarfraz who score truck load of runs in domestic. India needlessly with Sai Sudarshan, Nitish reddy.

I would put South Africa in that category too if they end up playing in a place like Mumbai. But India are obviously still heavy favorites against all these teams

Although South Africa's squad is definitely looking less and less interesting by the minute

there are a lot of players in FC circuit who can be good/great test players. India will slowly move towards completely different teams for different formats. India is scrapping top contract category as they don't expect to see many players playing multiple formats in future.

Samson leaves the crease in 5 mnts allowing others where as gill persists with tuk tuk for 15 overs.otherwise same same.

Management wants a keeper to open. So it will be him or Kishan in the future prabhsimran. ALl 3 are bad keepers. Samson is slightly better keeper. But he might lose his spot if he scores in single digits more often than not.

Then he has no place in this team , we have better player's to replace him.

Kishan can solve two problem, he is also Opener and wicketkeeper so there is no need to Play Samson

At this point management looks for players who can do two things atleast. Abhishek bowls+bats, Tilak can bowl a bit + bat, SKY captain. Samson keep + bat. Kishan is also sort of a boom or bust guy. surprisingly highest risk taker Abhishek is the most consistent in this line up. Having siad if you listen to SKy's interview he has told everyeon to express themselves. I am sure Smason follows it. But how to express yourself without getting out very early more often is something he has to master. His main problem is he is unecessarily setting himself up deep in the crease like lot of T20 players do. Abhishek does the opposite mostly he comes down the wicket. It makes them bowl bad balls. With Sanju hauncing on his backfoot misses out on some halwa balls also allows the bowlers to dictate terms

He is worried about short balls ( archer) and incoming balls.he stays in deep but makes mess

In LOIs frontfoto players rule, in Tests backfoot players rule. If you are good at both like Sachin that is different. Kohli is predominantly a frontfoot player. Iyer has great hand eye coordination. So he is able to play from the crease even though he also sets himself up for short balls. Sanju gets crouched
