290? Bro we are not watching the same match. It is slow and there's purchase for both seamers and spinners. You need peak Saeed Anwar, Sachin and Viv Richards to get 290 here. 220 would make Pak 60-40 favorites and 250 would make us 80-20 favorites. India need to keep us below 220 to have a decent chance themselves. With how Rizwan is in control here Pak should get 250 easily, maybe even 275 if Agha and Khushdil can launch at the end.
 
80/120 dot balls, even if only 20 of those were singles, 100/2 after 20 would look much better. That's right here adds up and is difference between win and lose.

I am not sure how to interpret this innings. PItch is hard? I don't think bowling is exceptional or pitch is overly helping.

Sharma was a gun ODI player. His swansong was the 2023 WC. Now he has no reflexes and he's not lasting more than a cheap 20-30 on his best day on a pitch like this against an attack like ours.

You can be sarcastic all you want but you in all your history haven't produced a batsman who will outdo Saud's eventual output so quit hating on him....your team is lucky and unworthy of a spot in CT.
 
In one way it's good not having Fakhar and Saim here in that it completely exposes how impactless our other batsmen are. They'd rather hide behind them than take any initiative themselves.

Have seen quicker batting in Test cricket.
 
It's just so funny that England play at a faster pace in test matches than Pakistan do in ODI's haha

It's a very difficult pitch and he's being watchful. It's the need of the hour here. We need Rizwan out there till the 35th over at least and then Khushdil and Salman can get us push at the end.
 
what’s the purpose of the coaching staff if they can’t tell these players to bat faster?

If the players refuse to listen, then why are they in the team?
 
I am not an einstein but i dnt understand one thing why bat first when you know you cant bat at all. They all know they cant so atleast bowl first and if they end up chasing more than 300 atleast u wont get this tuk tuk then again against kiwis that was exactly what happend
