India (262 & 118/4) defeat Australia (263 & 113) by 6 wickets - Take a 2-0 lead in the series

I bet he is gonna score between 20 and 30. And would take 80 odd balls. A classy innings to warrant a 20 min segment on him during lunch break by the broadcasters.

Cue the Kohli rap

15 runs in 63 balls. 12 half chances and 3 full chances in the inning. Momentum of the inning will be killed and bowlers will gain confidence during his stay. And former Kaptaan will make a shocked face when bowled by a regulation delivery. He will glare at pitch, his bat, and heavens.

No. He is never going to score another Test 100 especially on Indian pitches. Only place where he can score 100 is bouncy pitches like Australia.
God forbid if we have to make do with him in our next Australia series.

Also, his technique has unraveled so quickly I doubt he'll make a 50 even in Australia.

Starc (if fit) could have been handy on this slow pitch.

Great shot from Rahul, first boundary after 2nd ball of this Indian innings.

KL seems to have come in with a plan. Career saving if it works.

I thought Cummins was great in Australia when it comes to reviews. Here he is making blunders out of desperation.

They have a deep square leg. They have a long on. One bat pad on the onside. A 45 on the onside. So there are gaps to manipulate

Already lost 2 reviews with no Indian batsman back in hut.

They may be chasing leather if this partnership blossoms.

Having just one seamer is not a good idea. Australia has convinced themselves seamers have no purchase at all. That is not true at all. Jamieson picked a fifer here. Also Anderson and Archer had their moments too.

BCCI is hell bent on making a cricketer out of Rahul while knowing fully well his incapability.

Shami's success proved what a disastrous decision it was to go with just 1 seamer on this wicket.

Wasted review bite them real hard. that was out. Pujara. 3 meter rule did not apply. That was 2.8 meter !!!

Will Lyon get 10 wickets like Ajaz? He already has 3 out of 3.

India are in a spot of bother.

Pujara has been really poor for over 3 years now and has been escaping scrutiny only due to his bashing of BD attack on a featherbed.

Got out of such situations many times before but somehow this time I think it will be difficult. Pitch is only getting worse.

Matt Renshaw has been roped in as David Warner's concussion substitute for the ongoing Test match against India in Delhi. The Australian opener took a blow to his arm and also copped a hit on his helmet off a Mohammed Siraj delivery on the opening day of the fixture.

Usman Khawaja, Warner's opening partner, admitted on Friday that that left-hander was 'weary'and that the medical staff would take a call on his further participation in the Test. Ahead of the second day's play, it has been confirmed that Warner will take no further part in the fixture due to suffering the concussion.

This marks a swift return to the side for Renshaw, who lost his spot to Travis Head for the ongoing fixture after Australia's heavy defeat in Nagpur where he made 0 (1) and 2 (7). Since Renshaw will be a like-for-like replacement, he cannot bowl in the Test.

For all his on field shenanigans, prima donna nature and toxic personality, I still want Kohli to succeed in whatever is left in his cricket career.

But that seems highly unlikely.

Lyon seems to have finally figured out how to bowl on Indian wickets.

Also, Pujara getting out twice within the space of a few balls is shocking, he used to be one of the better Indian batters against spin a couple of years ago. End of the road for him ?

Australia fighting :14: but beating India in Delhi is not easy

King and Sir will save India nothing to worry :)

Road had ended for him some time back. Just that our selectors are just looking at his past laurels.

India should score atleast 280

No reviews for Australia

Let’s see what kind of plan against India After Lunch :)

Either one of Kohli or Jadeja should go big here.

Australia's quest to work their way back into the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Test series against India has taken a turn, with news that experienced opener David Warner has been substituted out of the second Test in Delhi due to concussion.

Warner will sit out the remainder of the second Test, with fellow left-hander Matthew Renshaw earning a reprieve and named as his replacement.

A more patient Warner managed just 15 runs in the first innings of the Test on Friday, but the 36-year-old took a couple of knocks to his body and helmet in the process during his 44-ball stay at the crease.

Further tests on Saturday showed Warner had not made a full recovery, with Renshaw substituted in as his replacement for the rest of this Test after he was dropped for Travis Head prior to the match commencing.

Whether Warner recovers in time to feature in the third Test of the series in Indore from March 1 remains to be seen and Australia will miss his experience on the field while he remains sidelined.

The current run of form of Warner is also a worry for Australia, with the usually dynamic left-hander having failed in all three hits this tour against India and with just one century to his name since the start of 2020.

Teammate and fellow opener Usman Khawaja feels Warner will bounce back to form, should he return to fitness in time this series.

"Three innings is not enough for me - I think there's still a long way to go in this Test series," Khawaja said after play on Friday.

"Dave has been such a terrific player for such a long time.

"Every time his back is against the wall he produces something so we'll see."

Lol, Ravi talking about choc-a-full plates of Hayden and Merv Hughes at lunch.

Australia have improved in this game.

Kohli a huge wicket here.

Not conclusive enough to overturn the decision in my opinion so out it is.
