India [314/9] defeat Bangladesh [286] by 28 runs to end Bdesh hopes of qualifying for semi-finals

80-20 now in my opinion if soumya stayed another 10 overs it would have been a different story

Pandya has become a clever bowler. He's bowling good slower bouncers and with subtle variations in pace

Pakistan plays BD before India, SL match.. So Pak won't know if India will lose to SL or not. But you are welcome to through your match against BD. this is called cutting nose to spite your face
 
Soumya is an idiot. Tamim needs a send iff after WC. Both of our openers are complete garbage. Its the middle order and Shakib who has been doing the heavy lifting.

So a loss here for Bangladesh means that only Pakistan and England are competing for a semi final spot.

Spin friendly wickets were given to India everytime they played against Non Asian teams in this wc.

But we got a plcid wicket when we played against Australia since aussies r weak against spin.

Then add all the 50/50 decisions that aways go in favor of India.

ICC has systematically made sure that their favourite teams reach semifinal.

It's a well known fact.

Tamim used to be better but he’s been mediocre lately. Bangladesh needs to find another opener.

hmmm. brighened your day did'nt it....will u say the same if BD win today?......if they deserve to win...they will and we will congratulate BD.....BTW..what about the rain affected matches....did BCCI arrange for the rain seeding as welll....watch out for the fairies m8....especially when u are driving.....cheers

I m not saying that India isn't a good team.

But they always get the favor from the umpires. Sometimes umpires act so partially that even Indian fans sometimes get embarrassed.

Anyway, umpiring has been decent so far in this match.

Where's the doubt?

Ultra edge showed that ball hit the bat. That's why umpires gave it not out.

Kohli was trying out his luck by reviewing it. Hence, he was punished for taking a bad review.

The purpose of the review is to get rid of howler from the game, not to try out lucks.

India, deservedly lost the review.

It is completly accpetable to not try to slog everyballl when saving NRR has better chance than win,unlike some team our tactics have so far made us and our NRR good enough not to depend on results of others:ma

get off the conspiracy high horse.....the best team wins....on most occasions....and am sure BD's time will come...maybe this WC maybe next....the passion is there, the skills are improving....once the infra and the facilities improve....they will be a team difficult to beat....the first step is to get out of the they all are against us mindset....cheers m8
 
Kohli should stop all this dramaybaazi of goodwill gestures, being a gentleman etc. It's against his nature and when he inevitably does do a childish act he looks even sillier.

I second that. Also it would have been wrong on 3rd Umpire's part to conclusively say it didnt hit the bat where snicko meter was saying otherwise and on field decision was also not out.

There is a difference between leaving balls and taking single in last 5 overs. You need to see in from unbiased lenses to understand what I am talking about and many of Indian journalists and experts also questioned the same thing.

I am not saying they did something intentionally but what they did definitely raised more questions then any other innings while chasing in a WC.

Good batting by BD. Their plan seems to be to score 80 to 90 at the death. They need to factor in Bumrah though. Smart batting by these two so far
 
If India is thinking about a future with Pandya as 5th bowler they definitely need a 6th bowling option in the side, Jhadav used to provide that before his shoulder injury.

They also questioned whn dhoni played similar innings vs last match WI,thats how he play thats what he has become.

Logon kato kam he bolna voto kuch bhi karo bolte hi rhenege,india was trying good as long as panda was there once he got out dadaji on hi last leg was noway going to get 13.50 per over for 5 overs.there is nothing wrong with accepting your situation

But its funny how socalled exprets opinions were ignored when some team bundled out for lowest ,i repeat lowest score of this wc ,a line up who just scored 300 in all the innings in eng in just a series that end week ago completly didnt try to take game any longer vs really mediocre WI attack...as if someone had told them you have to get out within 20-22 overs

I like this guy Chahal, he has more fight in him then Kuldeep definitely. Keeps tossing the ball up and is not scared to be hit
