In Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP on Wednesday passed a long resolution hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government for teaching “both China and Pakistan” a lesson.

The resolution called both China and Pakistan enemies, which have been brought to their knees by the BJP government. It says India forced China to retreat its troops from the Ladakh region and Pakistan to go for a ceasefire. The resolution says there is near normalcy in J&K and militancy is on its last leg.

The resolution was passed in a two-day working committee meeting conducted on March 6 and 7, at Katra.

“During the difficult Covid-19 pandemic, India had to fight two-pronged enemy attacks from China and also from Pakistan. India under the leadership of Mr Modi Ji fought well on both fronts with strategy and vision and with the valour of the security forces, taught a lesson to both the enemies at the same time. In view of the tough response from India, Pakistan has retreated and come to its knees and agreed to the reaffirmation of a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Since then firing on the border has also stopped,” the resolution reads.

“At the same time, India also forced China to retreat its troops from the places of intrusion in the Ladakh region. It was not only given a tough fight by the Indian Army but due to strategic and diplomatic decisions taken by the government of India brought China to its knees,” the resolution read. “J&K BJP thanks the Indian Armed forces in teaching a lesson to both the enemies and earning names for themselves and for the country.”

“J&K BJP also applauds the role of the police personnel, paramilitary forces and Indian armed forces doing their duties in J&K and fighting against the Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. There had been major victories against the terrorists to the extent of eliminating all the leadership of terrorists who are now clueless and terrorism is at its last legs. There is now near normalcy in the union territory of J&K owing to strong decisions of the Government of India, UT administration, police, paramilitary and Indian Armed forces,” the resolution said.

“India has almost emerged from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are at the last leg of the pandemic, which has not only drained the resources through financial, human, infrastructure of the world, but also changed the dimension of the world order. Whereas China is seen as the country that has given pandemic to the world, India has emerged as a country that is the saviour of the world during these bad times,” the resolution read.

“While China stood as a dragon that brought the world to the brink of death, it is India which has not only successfully absorbed the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and saved its huge population from destruction and death but is also saving the world community by extending helping hands to all by supplying vaccines for Covid-19 prepared by Indian pharmaceutical companies,” the resolution said.

“Covid-19 is divided the world into two ---- the destructors and the saviours. Covid-19 posed many challenges to India and India faced a lot of success with little damages because of effective leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, but this also has given new opportunities for India to grow fast and emerge as the world leader and new hub for industrial growth and the world supplier,” the resolution read.

Just see the mentality and attitude....

All I remember seeing is Abhinandan on his knees and all fours being dragged around like an animal before being rescued by the Pakistan Army.

Surely the people of Kashmir of all places aren't going to fall for this?

It's one thing to use this to campaign in the likes of Bihar and another to lie through your teeth in the arena where the events actually took place.

The facts of the matter are that Pakistan has not been able to liberate one square centimeter of Indian Kashmir in 70 years and big brother China is withdrawing its troops and dismantling its settlements on the Indian border after allegedly 'conquering Indian territory and owning India'. Certainly not a kind of behaviour that a 'conquering super power' is expected to indulge in.

Knees or not, some hard facts are difficult for certain Pakistanis and Indian 'for hire' leftists to digest.

Likewise you haven't either. Lost POK and Aksai Chin. Got neither back.

It works both ways.

Modi ji this, Modi ji that just shut up and tell about the developments that have happened in J&K after August 5 2019? OP can only fool jaahil bhakhts not those who have access to internet. :inti

Everything aside just the visuals of Abhinandan’s ordeal are enough.

Also the Bihar regiment in Akasi Chinn were jumping from the cliffs to escape from PLA. After all that, this chest thumping by the indian Netas comes across a bit comical

Not only this, BJP gifted a vast territory to China and is continuously accepting their money and influence in India's economy :))

By the way, I consider this a smart decision by Indian government.

They have been hUmIliAtEd, but they know they need Chinese $. They were never gonna win a 'war' anyways, China reminded them that.

The Pakistan part is essential for BJP rozi-roti (livelihood). These people literally live off barking against Pakistan. They have no agenda, progress, plan or achievements.

Solution to all of their political or economic problems is to put blame on Pakistan. Talk about obsession :yk

You meaning? India?

India never 'lost' POK. It was taken away from Kashmir before India set foot there. Read your history, my friend.

And thanks for referring to it as POK. Coming from a Pakistani, that is indeed wonderful to hear. :akhtar

He said this in jammu where they continues to maintain their support even after blocking 4g mobile data for over one and half years

Read your post and mine again.

You haven't taken it back. Same for Aksai Chin.

US Commander Claims China Still Controls 'Seized' Ladakh Positions

While India's defence minister as well as the Foreign Ministry stated that New Delhi hasn't "ceded" any territory to Beijing during the ongoing border standoff in the eastern Ladakh region, the claim was disputed by the head of US Indo-Pacific Command Admiral Philip Davidson on Tuesday.

Lol the fact that you have to say ‘Indian Kashmir’ and not Kashmir tells everything :)))

Kashmir started with India in August 1947 but half of it ended up with Pakistan soon after.

he forgot 1962 war with china and 27 feb 2019 skirmish with Pakistan

Two incidents benefited BJP a lot, Pakistan and China won't get a chance to humiliate modi and co in near future like they got in last year. They should have at least used their spy agencies to fuel something similar to farmers protest in kashmir

55% is under Pakistani and Chinese control.

They still believe its an integral part of India.

This is not true. J&K STARTED as independent state. Hari Singh signed instrument of accession in October 1947, after Pakistan invaded and captured part of J&K

Credit to ISI and its Chinese equivalent for convincing random Indian farmers to march on Delhi and keep on protesting there for ages! /s

India never lost POK. It was taken from independent J&k before Hari Singh acceded to India. India did take Siachin from Pakistan though.

Likewise Pakistan never lost IOK.

How did Pakistan lose Siachen when NO Pakistani ever set foot there. Do your research? You got there first.

India moves to build military road along border with China

India will build a road along more than 1,000 miles of its border with China to strengthen military resupply routes, after renewed hand-to-hand clashes with Beijing’s soldiers.

The new two-lane “frontier highway”, which will stretch along the India-China border throughout the northeastern Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, will be completed in five years, the Times of India reported.

The proposed road will run as close as 12 miles from the Chinese-Indian border, known as the Line of Actual Control (LAC), allowing Delhi to rapidly deploy troops and equipment to combat potential Chinese aggression.

Senior Indian Army figures told The Telegraph that People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldiers have regularly entered Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh over the last few months and Delhi is coming under increasing pressure from the Indian public to react.

On December 9, PLA troops, allegedly armed with clubs and stones, crossed the border into the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh and injured at least 20 Indian soldiers in hand-to-hand fighting before they withdrew.

The proposed road will also help prevent nomadic Chinese herdsmen from crossing into Indian territory and building settlements there. PLA troops are allegedly using the herdsmen as cover to cross the border and seize strategically important land.

Beijing has been rapidly scaling up infrastructure on its side of the LAC, building major roads, airstrips and heliports.

On Thursday, Delhi also successfully tested its Agni-V nuclear-capable strategic missile off the eastern coast of India, in what was seen as a message to Beijing. The weapon has a range of over 4,000 miles.

Beijing and Delhi agreed to an uneasy ceasefire in 1962 after fighting a short war which ended in humiliating defeat for India.

But Beijing still claims the region of Arunachal Pradesh in its entirety, arguing the Indian state had historically been part of South Tibet in China.

China has stepped up its aggression along the LAC in recent years. In June 2020, PLA troops killed at least 20 Indian soldiers during brutal hand-to-hand combat in the western Indian union territory of Ladakh, seizing over 20 square miles of Indian land in the process.

On Friday, one of India’s leading opposition politicians, Rahul Gandhi, warned that China was not just preparing for further incursions into Indian territory but for a full-out war. India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) dismissed his claims.

India and China have agreed to de-escalate tensions along their disputed border after a conversation between its leaders, a senior Indian official said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping spoke on the sidelines of the Brics summit in South Africa on Wednesday.

Beijing said the meeting was held at Mr Modi's request.

Relations between India and China have been worsening for more than three years.

The two world powers are facing off against each other along their ill-defined 3,440km (2,100-mile)-long border - known as the Line of Actual Control (LAC) - in the Himalayan region.
