India defeat England by an innings and 25 runs in the 4th Test to qualify for the final of WTC

India is a lot better team than England as a touring team to each other's country. We will have a competitive series. India should win in England later this year

But they can’t “prepare” weather and modern Indians can’t play orthodox swing.

If the weather is fair I foresee a tight series. India’s lower order batting is better than the top order.

England is such an over-rated team. Had they play against us in Pakistan we could have whitewash them as well. Apart from Root all English players are pretty average. Even Sudor is better than any English player except Root in sub-continent.

Yeah, he is one of the few players who has advanced on this part of the tour. Also Anderson, Leach and Stone.

Crawley, Sibley, Bairstow, Pope, Bess, Archer and Broad have all gone backwards.

India have world class bowling attack for any condition better than any other teams if our batter score 300+ then we will win it

Another myth. India has played swing better than most countries in the last 6 years or so. It is seam movement that we are terrible against. 2018 England had a high amount of seam movement which defeated us completely. Australia are the opposite, probably the best players of seam movement but struggle against swing

Pakistan even if they bat with wrong hands can score 700+ easily! Younis Khan if playing today would have scored first 500 in Tests! It would have been a piece of cake for him!

No surprise there except Chennai 1st test which was a surprise capitulation.
Some amazing performances by spinners and Pant/Rohit/Sundar.
Excellent contribution of Indian Top order in catching.

Imagine if Indian batting actually did something in this series. Lol.

Mamoon mode on - Best test series ever in terms of quality and performance by GOAT india team. Not even great WI and Aus teams were this good.

Ashwin greater than warne

Axar best left arm spinner in history

Sundar better than Sobers

Pant greatest keeper batsmen in history of the game.

Mamoon mode off.

On serious note the quality of test cricket across entire series was pretty poor.

This rant would have made sense if India is only winning at home and terrible away.

But the same bunch (Sundar, Pant, Ashwin etc.) Beat Australia in Australia in 2 back to back series. In the process they also breached fortress Gabba where Australia was undefeated for 4 decades.

This is a GOAT Indian test side. You just wont admit it :)
 
One game was finished within 2 days and the next within 3 days.

Are people seriously going to argue that India is so far ahead of England that they can legitimately destroy them like this without extenuating circumstances? Combination of Pitch, covid bubble (leading to player rotation)...

I haven't seen such a poor series in a very long time.

So, NZL's run at the top lasted about as long as Pakistan's run at the top in 2016,lol. Shows how difficult it is to hold the no.1 spot for long for non big 3 teams.

India did that without their second best spinner and two of the best fast bowlers on Indian wickets.

This pitch was brilliant for batting with no demons in it. Hardly any wear n tear or cracks. Its the pitch where Washington Sundar scored 96 runs for gods sake. England cant play spin at all...its not Indias problem.

For big 3 teams too. Australia have held for a few months at a time in the last 7 years or so.

There was nothing wrong with this one and the one at the second test where we scored 600+ and Ashwin of all people smashed a hundred. The extravagant seam on the pink ball made it look bad in the last test..

Just that England are awful when it turns a mm and they were up against a world class spin attack.

Am not crying at all, im laughing at how indian fans over hype there team as greatest team in history of the game. Let see how indis fares in eng, NZ and SA again where they have been hammered again and again in last 10 years.

Over hyping englands ability in Asia because of how they have performed in SL. Yet they have been smashed in india and in pakistan/UAE time and time again.

South Africa were no.1 for almost 4 years though from 2012-2016. Funny that they gained the no.1 spot by beating England in England in 2012 and then lost it by losing to England at home in 2016.
