Its tea. Surely NZ's session.
Not really. Wicket is extremely challenging and it will only get more and more conducive for spinners. We have it in the bag if we get 250.

Good decision by the umpire tbh. It was plumb.
Poor form continues for our middle order![]()
It is challenging no doubt which is the thing I like about Wankhede pitch. Not really. Wicket is extremely challenging and it will only get more and more conducive for spinners. We have it in the bag if we get 250.
Looked simultaneous.
Correct decision with the umpires decision standing.
Kohli complaining isn't surprising.
Better u watch the replay .. it's so evident big inside edge

However not sure, how well we'll cope with Jaddu's absence. Bumrah here would have been absolutely lethal. But he seems to have other priorities.
Williamson is obviously a class act but isn't anything flash in India. Doesn't even average 35 here.Jaddu is a huge miss but NZ too are missing Williamson so their batting order pretty much ends after Latham/Young. Ashwin and Axar are more than enough..especially Axar.
Good luck chasing anything over 80 on this pitch.. Bang & Ind will not trouble any ICC events anytime soon. Ind can’t beat NZ on a even playing field have to resort to low slow wickets.

Leave alone cry babies. Whenever India does well it must be due to some ulterior forces at play.Ahh yes "Even playing field"... you mean green mambas in NZ and overcast conditions in England. Anywhere India wins is not "even playing" for you guys.![]()

Didn't know that ECB controls the weather in England.
England provides the most sporting pitches out of all test playing nations. Kindly do not group them with other countries.![]()

Lol here comes the typical lame straw man.
By that logic, even BCCI doesn't "control' the weather in India. But still the crying doesn't stop, when the wicket starts taking turn after baking in the sun for 2 days.

Ajaz is bowling beautifully. He is creating so many chance but other bowlers are need to step up if NZ want to restict India under 250 .Btw nice deflection yet again but by pad .![]()
You look confused today just like the third umpire who gave Kohli out. You were talking about green mambas in NZ and overcast conditions in England in the same sentence. Just like 95% of your posts here that didn't make any sense.![]()
In your apparent hate for anything Indian, at least don't lie. Karun Nair played 3 more tests after scoring that 300 and then rightfully binned.Indian pitches are so hopeless I remember 1 guy scores 300 v eng & his reward was he never played again.. even Indians don’t take there pitches seriously!!
This deck is bouncing like some of the Aussie pitches. How is this low? How can red clay play low? And certainly not slow, Kanpur was slow, this is seeing sharp seam/turn.
Of course it didn't make any sense. Nothing makes sense unless and until it suits your lame agendas.![]()
I wasn't the one who was talking about overcast conditions in England and using it as an excuse though.![]()

Lol what a poor bench strength India has as keeper batsman.
One guy has humiliated Australians including trolling Wade and Paine twice in two tours in Australia and the other could barely open his account at home.
Century by Mayank given chance to express my opinion: consistent IPL opener, picked as test opener, then how he could not fit in ODI? Just cause there is no slot?.. Is it fair?
I would move Rahul at 5 and Mayank as opener with Rohit. If there is no slot, how you fit him? That is exactly the point.
Third umpire decision seems correct to me. He didn't have enough evidence to overturn on-field decision.
However no doubt Virender Sharma is a poor umpire. The guy gets under pressure easily.
Forgot to check even ball tracking.
Thats stumps.
Surely our day on a tough pitch to bat on.
India obviously produces the worst pitches along with Bangladesh.
Kanpur pitch was unusual and was very good by Indian standard.
Here it's already turning sharp and all 4 wicktes are picked up by a spinner.
India can't be beaten on these pitches.
Last 3 tests in Wankhede have been won by the sides bowling first, all included monster 2nd innings performances, like KP's 187, Kohli's 235, Rohit's debut series. All boils down to NZ's first innings, should try to get 450-500 and it is very much possible against an attack missing Bumrah, Shami, Jadeja. This pitch will offer value for shots and it is common to see 350+ runs being scored per day on days 2 to 4. Day 1 is slightly tougher because of the moisture, will be wonderful to bat from tomorrow.
Runs will be scored, wickets will fall, spinners will do well, swing bowling will be supported because of proximity to the sea. Match will be played at breakneck speed and still go on for all 5 days. One of the better test venues in India, high quality red clay.

But why let facts get in the way of a rant!
This is India's game to lose now. Can't see Kaneless NZ to give fight to India B team this time.![]()
Ah but if India lose or draw you will be Bhangra mode all day.
Tough pitch as in for today's batsmen who are probably technically deficient as compared to yesteryear's batsmen. Not tough, Mumbai generally gives high scoring turners where it is easiest to bat on days 2 and 3. Check scorecards of 2012 and 2016 tests against England. Turn will be there but the bounce is true and consistent, also a lot of value for shots, so quite easy to score at a high rate. I want us to get close to 400 here, that should be enough. We will definitely see a result here, awesome pitch prepared by curators. Kanpur pitch was a disgrace really with no bounce.
Indian pitches are so hopeless I remember 1 guy scores 300 v eng & his reward was he never played again.. even Indians don’t take there pitches seriously!!
I only watched the last hour and the pitch looked very flat.Tough pitch as in for today's batsmen who are probably technically deficient as compared to yesteryear's batsmen.
See how Pujara got out today.
