ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Indian advocate Harish Salve recalled an interview of former premier Nawaz Sharif, which was published by a prominent English newspaper of Pakistan, as evidence that Sharif had acknowledged Pakistan’s role in 26/11 Mumbai attacks, during International Court of Justice (ICJ) hearing of the high-profile case of Indian Navy commander Kulbhushan Jadhav.

During the hearing, Salve mentioned Sharif’s interview to a reporter which was published by a prominent English newspaper of Pakistan.

“This interview has not been denied,” he said while placing it forward as evidence.

India has sought to rescue Indian Navy commander Kulbhushan Jadhav from the death sentence granted to him by Pakistan’s military court on the charges of espionage.

This has prompted several questions about the implications of the Sharif s interview given to the reporter including whether it was a conspiracy against Pakistan.

The Pakistan's lawyers reply to this was that Nawaz Sharif has been sentenced by the supreme court of paksitan for lying to the parliament, the supereme court and people of Pakistan while in office about his ill gotten wealth hence this interview shouldn't be taken as a testimony of someone who has been declared a liar by the highest court of his country ..

In any other country it is appreciated when a corrupt, incompetent, and traitors are punished but in Pakistan these pseudo-liberal gets out of shape when Pakistan does the same.

In last 10-15 years, since the end of Musharraf, Pakistan’s establishment has systematically sidelined politicians who were running a divide and conquer politics, who were corrupt. MQM, PPP and PML-N are all history.

Establishment understood change can’t be brought about with corrupt family dynastic politicians.

Had three consecutive democratic election.

More and more foreign investors are looking to Pakistan to invest.

Tourism has increased.

Pakistan’s general population is of believe and fully supports better relationship with its neighbors.

I think the Pak case is much stronger then India's. Even if the verdict favours India by no means does it means the release of Kulbushan so they'll will win nothing.
