3) Pitch looks easier to bat on today, conditions are easier

4) And I'm pretty sure we had two debutants in our top 4.. yeah.

how u take off has nothing to do with how high you fly...32/4 or 100/4 doesnt matter..we eventually scored 226 against a better bowling attack..we ll see where these tiny bdeshis reach at the end of 50 overs...

plus its not jst abt Asia cup...bdesh has lost some 60 tests of 66-67 they have played..can it be more embarassing for any nation than this ? yet the shameless team keeps playing

Still ,,BD with a RR of 5 is decent on this pitch..They ruined the start given by the openers..
Bhajji starts with a wide...and follows it up with a dot ball..

The problem with Bangladesh is that they can't keep wickets intact for a good part of the game and end up with low scores on the board and their bowlers can't defend such a total.

to be fair Jadeja's ODI performance in Zim wasn't as bad as the T20 WC. and other seamers aren't any better than Nehra, are they?

If India do get the rest of the wickets quickly, they should go for the kill and finish it within 30-35...Run Rate is going to play a big part..if three teams end up with 2 wins..

this win from india will put pressure on pak because they will get a bonus point in this match.
 
Ball doing a lot now. Swing, seam, bounce everything on offer. Another 40-50 runs from BD would have made this a little more interesting.
 
We should aslo get the bonus point from Bangladesh, and we beat India, and India lose to Sri Lanka... All is well :D

Couple of wickets and BD can be back into the match..atleast they can reduce the RR difference..India need to rebuild now..get to 20 overs without loosing any wickets..
and then accelerate..

Dhoni should have been come later and given chance to Raina even Raina has played in Zimbabwe as captain but the situation not demand him to come earlier and given chance to others to show some form but he himself choose to come at number 5.

I think he would like to check the pitch what exactly behave so thats why he himself promote up the order at number 5.

With Sehwag, Kohli and Rohit fail to fire but Gambhir finding some form as the captain will also looking to do ahead of Raina.

Raina has had enough practice in Zimbabwe. Dhoni has been away from the game for the past month or so and he needs some time in the middle. nothing wrong with this.

or that he doesn't want any more wickets falling. Dhoni ver 2.0 usually doesn't give his wicket easily, esp if the game is a low scoring affair.

the situation demanded someon to stay at the wicket , there is no one better than Dhoni for this ....Rain though dint score a lot , looked in fine touch in Zim .

We also can get the bonus point If we beat India and then beat Bangladesh with the big margin and take the bonus point then we level points with India and then India lost to Sri Lanka we are on the Final but its still long way to go from here on.

Dhoni says batting 200% more difficult under those flood lights. Toss could be the descive factor in the whole tournament. very unfair..
 
well it was one sided match ............ india won easily but iam still not sure about indian batting ........... i mean today only gambhir looked comfortable and the bonus point is not a issue because pakistan too has to play bangladesh so they also have the chance to gain bonus point ............. and how poor can bangladesh get ........... sehwag got 4 wickets .............. shame on bangladesh ................

I know its not a big win...but still good to see the real India back after those loses to ZIM..
