The world does not begin and end at one warm up game. The whole world has seen our bowlers performance in the last 2 years and thats one of the reason why we are no 2 in the world. Nehra and Zaheer have been great at death recently.

I know you are waiting for one off day to snap at Indian bowlers but remember that Pak seamers also werent so hot against Bangladesh yesterday in the initial 15 nor were Australian bowlers able to do much against South African batsmen

They need to first slow down the momentum of the innings. So I think spinners are needed from both ends.

Is that why we have won more matches batting second after restricitng the opposition? Is that why we have been able to defend even small scores recently? Is that why we have won so many tests recently even on flat wickets after batting second?

Our batting is world class but our bowling has been right up there overall as an unit

What happened to irfan pathan? I remember for a few years when he came on the scene he was a quality ODI fast bowler. At his peak, Irfan has always been a better limited overs bowler than both Nehra and Sreesanth I feel.

Seems strange he hasn't been recalled for ages it seems. Must be about 2 years now. I think India could have really used him for the world cup.
