I do believe Rehman is a good prospect but his confidence was battered in the ODI series. He wont be a threat against this Indian line up either.

Leg spinners are attack bowlers..they are not control bowlers compared to off spinners.

Only Warne is an accurate leg spinners..
Mushtaq and Qadir have similar economy rates to Kaneria, even though test run rates have really increased in test matches since the year 2000.

Kumble is not a conventional leg spinner; therefore he has more control. He is more like Afridi, Even Afridi turns the ball more than Kumble.
 
Not sure whats worse, Arun Lal's commentary or our bowling. Kamran continues dropping the odd catch.

this is the worst bit of cricketing going on, i cant stand this stupid Arun Lal and to add to it i am watching a lifeless bowling attack !
 
Kaneria is very average. Never looks threatening. Even what little he had, he's lost it. Pak have to look for new spinners.
 
look @ Akhtar run after the ball, i have never seen such a non atheletic sprint from a fast bowler :)
 
what was DK thinking ?

this loser should be kicked out of the team......what makes him think that sami was going hit the stumps aiming at one stump?

this guy is useles...can't field, can't bat, can't bowl..why is he in the team?
 
After Kumble left Kaneria stranded on 194 last match i think Kaneria is looking for another opportunity here.

Tanvir would have posed problems for the lefties, Bhanja should have made way for Arafat.

how can things goes your way when you have losers in your team......how come DK is playing every single test match?what has he done?

we might be better off with 4 fast bowlers or whatever...he sucks anyway...
 
Ganguly had never score a 100 against Pakistan before this series, and now he is on the verge of scoring a double ton.

He has truly made up for the last test series.

hahah someone in crowd got a sign saying Akram/Waqar, Pak needs you ...i m sure that would be a great help...both of them will do better than the current bowling attack, including shobby..

I feel for the guy. He's tiring palpably. But Pakistan have very few options. Shoaib isn'lt coming in, and the others haven't done as well.
 
DK is usless....everytime he gets hit for 4 he act like it was in the air and could have been caught...loser kahin ka..
 
i would bowl Salman Butt insted of DK ...he will get us wicket in as many overs....
 
Hey guys, give Danish a break too. It's not his fault if he gets selected. He's only human...and he's obviously trying his hardest to get a wicket with no support from Kamran Akmal. I mean come on, its hot and he's also been bowling for about 40 overs now too.

Ganguly must be feeling that he is batting against himself (except any swing) while facing Arafat
 
I reckon they woudl want to rack up 600+ today, and send Pakistan in with around 30mins before the close of play....
 
arafat's over - 10 runs, kaneria's - 9. Let them milk it for what it's worth. If two straight overs with 4 or less runs, declare.
 
we should start playing a lot of games against Zim & Bangladesh before out test status is questioned

Butt should be bowling for us and not DK .....just look at the econ for butt....why do we have to play Dk...they both doant take wickets anyway......

Ya something like that. He bowled one good ball.. batsman edged.. but alas Akmal has his own odds. 1 catch out of every 5. So difficult combination to work together.
 
what do you guys think if shobby comes back to bowl and his back prob start again in the very first over and he can't bowl anymore for the rest of the innings?

Especially considering that we had them at 61/4. Things started out so promisingly. :(
