somewhere in england Mushtaq Ahmed and Saqi will be laughing at the state of pakistan spin bowling....they were force to go while guys like AK/Murli still playing...
 
Which was the last test match Shoaib did not leave the field with injury? And, which was the last match he had a spell with more than five overs of the same sustained speed?
 
why dont they just keep on showing those nice looking women in staduim insted of this match?
 
it dont matter if shobby comes back or not....he is going be useless anway...


oh well looking fwd to Patriots vs Steelers game tomorrow......

Shoaib hasnt taken the field today for some time ... I think that counts in the delay period as well ...

You're right. I didn't think about that. The 1:40 time was if he didn't leave the field. So the time he's been off adds up I think.

no .. he can send down a bouncer and knock kumble back to dehli ... and then we will score 800 runs.
 
i think we should give moyo a bowl .. he took 1 wicket in 1 ball in the WC.

compare that to kaneria who has no wickets in like 250 balls.

Pathan on course for his ton - I think that India will declare as soon as Pathan gets 100 and Bumpcatcher gets 250.
 
Only rain can save Pakistan from total humiliation... apart from that, a few batsmen could play for izzat as well.
 
seeee i like the way shobby is playing......just give up the chase....why run so much...saving a couple of runs is not going do anything anywya.....

this pitch will be nightmare to bat on when its time for us to bat.....i expect us to lose about 4 wickets be4 the end of the day...

IIRC Sami was bowling 150 all day long last time we toured india .. what the hell happened ?
 
i like the way MYK is running the show...he is making sure DK is hit all over the place so he is not picked in future....keep on bringing him MYK...thats the only way to get rid of him..
 
Declaration is definitely coming - India have been scoring at nearly 7rpo for the last 10 overs. And this is a Test match.

this remind me of Karachi test a couple of yrs ago...2nd innings pakistan getting some easy runs and MYK is waiting for Razzaq to get his 100....i know a lot indian criticize MYK for that ..and even we had enough time to have a go at the indians...wonder what they have to say about this now?:):)

So far this pitch look like batting paradise, and I am sure as soon Butt and Hameed going to walk into it, its gona turn into bowling paradise
that really going to bother me :)
and I am going to make sure that I go to sleep before watching that :)
 
i m impress with DK progress over the years...its use to be 100 for 1 after bowling some 25-30 overs....it has gone up to 150+ for 1 now....i m really impress
 
611 runs in 5 sessions. Considering the fact just 65 runs in the first session last 4 sessions have been prison pounding for Pakistan.

At least India won't refuse to play with Pakistan anymore, like they use to refuse to play against Pakistan during Waqar and Wasim Era :)

I guess, now Pakistan should refuse to play with India till they get better team :)

i already gave my detailed comments about this topic in another thread. just to remind you it's Pakistan who refused to tour India in 90's due to political reasons.. I wouldn't put anymore comments about this subject in this thread. may be you bump that thread.
 
Pakistan used to be unpredictable side even when they were at full strength. On a given day they could lose to anyone even in the 90s. But now they have become really predictable!!

One W was pummelled into submission by Jadeja in 1996 world cup. Matter of 40 runs in his last 2 overs were scored by India :P

We use to pick exciting players and throw them in. Now we do not do that anymore, we just play the same old crap over and over.

Look how we won the last test series against you guys. We threw in Asif out of nowhere and to everyone shock, it wasn't Shoaib who ran through India. But it was Asif doing laps around your boys.

well in this session pak fought back to pick the wicket of in form ganguly. so i guess its moral victory for pakistan esp. kaneria. :|

Two of the tests in that series were bowling graveyards ! Ones which were sure of not producing any result ... Taking NOTHING away from Pakistan, I feel that series was very disappointing from a spectator's point of view ...

Even Akthar had a good first series against India. Pathan had a good series against Pakistan. First series is always good for rookies from both teams. RP Singh took 4 wickets in his first test. Arafat has now picked 4 wickets. It is the second series that will determine the true class. After the bowler is figured out by batsman. He is a good bowler. But it is no guarantee he is going to roll India out every time he bowls to.

come on guys if politicians really cared for cricket and pride of nation so much they would invest in good infrastructure and try to help in producing good talent rather than safe-gaurding their players. this doesnt make sense at all.
