well its been given....if misbah and moyo dont put on a partnership the series could be over

umpire didnt even take time-so it means 100% sure that it was out. which is BS anything outside off impact umpire has to take a bit time (especially when batsman offers a shot)

Afridi gone!

shocking umpiring to say the least!

pakistan in trouble here! we may struggle to get to 270 which we need!

looked not out in real time but replays showed it hit him just in line.

Umpire was a little too quick to give it out for my liking though. It was the Indian guy as well.

But anyway, once again...Afridi has failed when it really matters. Just about sums him up.

Dude, that's not his fault. He was NOT out.
Some decisions go your way and some dont ... If Afridi is not faulted for his dismissal, he should surely be faulted for a bad shot attempt ... He was playing way across the line to a ball that was coming in ... The ball would definitely have gone on to hit the stumps ... The only problem was the impact was MARGINALLY outside the off stump ... Its very close to call ! Not a "horribly" wrong decision ...

Yea but the umpire didn't even take TIME to think! Its just like...***. It obviously means that he was looking for any chance to give out.

i dont think it was as clear as the umpire made it...to instant of a decision for something so marginal

The game over part I know was brilliant.

Good. Proves his point about how intelligent you are.

It was a speedy decision made, given that it was a close call wouldn't you say?! Or was it a birthday gift to India from the Birthday boy himself, what's the ump's name..? Speedy finger..

What are you talking about? He stretched away too! And even then there was questions to be asked!

I accept in real time it looked not out. But in the replay it showed it was hitting him JUST in line with the stumps. JUST.

Umpire gave it out immediately which shows something fishy though. As if he didn't even consider that it might be outside the line of off stump.

Afridi knows there is nothing that can be done against him so he can do whatever you want....what kind of loser will go and hit a shot like he did in 3rd odi in 4th over against IKP? dude i can go and score at the sr or 150 if all i have to do is play a couple of balls....this guy is not a team player..simple as that........he is just full of himself...he doesn't care what is req by the team.....

The way it was given LBW seems either the decision was premediated or Plumb
you make the choice

it definitely wasn't plumb so I guess premeditated

Wasn't he the one who took a sensible decision in YK's case earlier in the game ?? :) Consulted the leg-umpire and eventually the right decision was made ...

It wasn't.

The side on replay showed that the ball hit the front of the pad and his pad was well out side the line.

oh dear.....

What a pathetic decision and the retarded commentators especially Rameez seem oblivious to the fact that the ball hit the pads way outside the line of the off-stump.

how can you tell if his pad is outside the line from side on?

Moyo needs to bat thru here and misbah needs to get 50+ here!

now even if the umpire gives the right decision people have problem with his timing. it hit in line and it was the right decision. there ends the matter.

lol...stop whining....replays showed that it was supposed to hit middle stump.... haha, stop making excuses..hahaha, some pakistani fans will never stop crying ..

test match in progress....i hope we can draw it from here or at least take it into the 5th day....

Ok. I am not gonna ANYTHING about what you people do.

Can I add my point, in that this is the inconsistency that Mr Boom Boom brings..

1...What was the need to go cross bat at that stage to Ganguly's bowling...just milk him, as Dhoonis is looking at getting 10 overs from Yuvvi/Sehwag/Dada...

2. He was given put opn the shot....not pre meditated or plumb by the umpire in my opinion.

3. Poor shot selection led to his downfall....

4. He had the chance to bat on a very flat track and knock the bowling around after getting himself in. I played in a veterans game in Gwalior and its not a big area.

Can the late middle order resuce a score to defend....
I would not mind being an Indian batter at present - dew or no dew...

hahha something fishy..when younis was given Notout twice today..then what happened to your so called "something fishy"....dude, he was out if u see the replays...hawk-eye showed that he was out

beautifully done through the off side. Mohammad Yousuf can make it look extremly pretty through the off side.

Inspite of the 4 which is the ocassional price paid, I have been very impressed by the aggressive captaincy of Dhoni ...

Nodderick - even the shot to get off the mark was a dodgy, cross bat effort that could have bowled him.

He had 20 overs!!! 20 overs!!

hahah.. speedy finger.. hahah... cheat.. hahah.

This umpire Sahiba has given quite a few LBWs in this series and the previous one against Aussies.. and he has shown the same speed in all of them.. go check it. And Mostly he has been spot on. I have seen him giving a couple of very marginal against Indians too.. However this one was the correct one.. Afridi is a fool. playing paddle to a medium pacer without even adjusting to the pace of the pitch..

and in both cases their was sufficient doubt. What's your point?

their death bowling hasn't been that great in the recent past so they have to gain some control

and for the Pakistani batsman controlled aggression is required.
