No. We need at least 270, IMO. And that means Afridi's gotta deliver.sohaibsyed said:you guys think 250 is enough to defend?
Dude, that's not his fault. He was NOT out.Hash said:another beastly innings by Afridi
not all his fault that was a wrong decisionHash said:another beastly innings by Afridi
Some decisions go your way and some dont ... If Afridi is not faulted for his dismissal, he should surely be faulted for a bad shot attempt ... He was playing way across the line to a ball that was coming in ... The ball would definitely have gone on to hit the stumps ... The only problem was the impact was MARGINALLY outside the off stump ... Its very close to call ! Not a "horribly" wrong decision ...iZeeshan said:Dude, that's not his fault. He was NOT out.
Very intelligent comment indeed! Brilliant stuffiZeeshan said:WHAT THE HELL? THAT WAS NOT OUT. Game over.
The game over part I know was brilliant.FAQ said:Very intelligent comment indeed! Brilliant stuff

Yea but the umpire didn't even take TIME to think! Its just like...***. It obviously means that he was looking for any chance to give out.invincible said:Some decisions go your way and some dont ... What are you talking about? He stretched away too! And even then there was questions to be asked!Hash said:it was out. Hit him just in line.

you make the choice
Wasn't he the one who took a sensible decision in YK's case earlier in the game ??Ahmad said:It was a speedy decision made, given that it was a close call wouldn't you say?! Or was it a birthday gift to India from the Birthday boy himself, what's the ump's name..? Speedy finger..
It wasn't.Hash said:I accept in real time it looked not out. But in the replay it showed it was hitting him JUST in line with the stumps. JUST.
Umpire gave it out immediately which shows something fishy though. As if he didn't even consider that it might be outside the line of off stump.
Thought I redeemed myself by agreeing.Hash said:Good. Proves his point about how intelligent you are.

The side on replay showed that the ball hit the front of the pad and his pad was well out side the line.
Ok. I am not gonna ANYTHING about what you people do.rahulrulezz said:lol...stop whining....replays showed that it was supposed to hit middle stump.... haha, stop making excuses..hahaha, some pakistani fans will never stop crying ..

Umpire was a little too quick to give it out for my liking though. It was the Indian guy as well.
oh dear.....
hit him outside the line. End of discussion.rahulrulezz said:lol...stop whining....replays showed that it was supposed to hit middle stump.... haha, stop making excuses..hahaha, some pakistani fans will never stop crying ..

1...What was the need to go cross bat at that stage to Ganguly's bowling...just milk him, as Dhoonis is looking at getting 10 overs from Yuvvi/Sehwag/Dada...
2. He was given put opn the shot....not pre meditated or plumb by the umpire in my opinion.
3. Poor shot selection led to his downfall....
4. He had the chance to bat on a very flat track and knock the bowling around after getting himself in. I played in a veterans game in Gwalior and its not a big area.
Can the late middle order resuce a score to defend....
I would not mind being an Indian batter at present - dew or no dew...
